Spreadsheet, as I have some employer-contributed pension funds that HL dont seem able to track0

Moneydance, I use it for all my bank accounts and investments, and with an extension it can even download all the prices of your investments and show you a P/L ratio. Its not as accurate as the online account manager, but its good enough (or maybe I've not configured it correctly). For example, it might say "£2.31" rather than "£2.3109".
Might not be the best application for the job, but considering I use it to keep track of my bank accounts as well, I feel its sufficient.0 -
As others have said you have double even trebled up on some areas. It is a shame that Hargreaves Lansdown don't allow you to use their analyse function on the virtual portfolios to check where you could be over exposing yourself to risk. Does anyone know of somewhere where the OP could do this. I'll probably be shot down here but I do treat it as a game (although a serious game) and run a straight forward share portfolio of between 30 to 40 income producing shares which I reinvest £1k at a time in the share which has lost the most so long as it doesn't break my stock selection rules.Solar PV cost £5760 (15/03/13)
FIT inc + Electricity saved £3746 (65% Paid back) Tax free

Looking for something along these lines - can you recommend anything I can look at in Asia?
Would you avoid Japan?
There are many good Asia funds and ITs - most of these exclude Japan as the Land of the Rising Sun has had many false dawns over the past 10-20 years! However, maybe things are different this time in Japan and there is no denying that it has had a stunning 6 months and now that it seems determined to raise inflation it could have a further stunning period ahead of it (or not!).
Asia Pacific has had a great couple of years and even the experts seem to agree that a period of consolidation is now due and it is unlikely that we will see the same sort of growth in the next two years - however it is still a better bet for growth than the UK and Europe.
Personally I like the Aberdeen stable for Asia Pacific - they have a very strong and experienced team led by Hugh Young. Of course, other options are available!Old dog but always delighted to learn new tricks!0 -
The performance of Aberdeenshire Asian smaller companies has been stunning, though I've only been in on it for the last year. However I think they have restrictions in place for new money currently.0

The funny thing is I came out of this just yesterday - I think its performance cannot be matched over the next couple of years0
