If it's unauthorised can't you just post an empty envelope and then upload proof of posting?

with the cheapest signed for service to Germany nearly £6 and with no guarantee of a signature and limited time- I really don't see how that will work.

I sold 3 codes last week seperately, to spread the risk - but one buyer bought them all.

So posted recorded and luckily it tracked.

    £1.70 well spent :D

Do you have the code? If yes, go online and spend it immediately if possible. Can you buy something sellable with it?

If the code has been used, then upload a screendump showing it's been used. Probably won't help, but worth a try. Also, contact the voucher people and have it blocked if it hasn't been used.
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Paypal are holding the funds untii the dispute is settled.

I feel that maybe the chaps son has bought the code without dads permission.....

I will just have to let it go and make the most of free listing weekend.

I guess that if I cancel the transaction (purchase) then the money will be refunded automatically...am I right.

    You can't cancel the transaction.

All you can do is defend the chargeback, which is not possible as you sent them by email, or refund.

That is what MSE is for :D

Sometimes it is just a case of coming on here to check something we already fear we know the answer to.

I've just had a rather curt email from a buyer who believes I sold them a used item as 'new'. I am trying the glass of wine approach at the moment but it might still turn into a rant thread in a moment.

Sounds to me like one email account got hacked and it led to the others being accessed by password reset links being sent to the compromised email account.

I dount anyone would specifically pick you at random to monitor and hack all your accounts when they could just hack one and access everything.

Yes you're probably right. Although my Facebook was also hacked but that was linked to my work email address. Could possibly have been spyware or something malicious on my PC that recorded all my passwords etc.

Either way, I'm extremely paranoid about security now and change my passwords all the time!

the cheapest is not £6 for a letter and a sig is not required for less than £150 value items.
