  • Ive just had a delivery from Amazon which I ordered in January off Hotdeals! 12 x Air wick aerosols of Jasmine and Freesia for £6.50 including delivery. I kept getting emails saying that the stock was delayed....taken long enough and had forgotten about it TBH. Will pop a couple in DD's Uni box.

Went to St Albans this morning and it stayed dry, I had some washing on the line and it was nearly dry when I brought it in when it started raining, so it is finishing off on the airer :D.

Still chilly, but I am holding off putting the heating on until it gets really cold tonight.

Oh well must get dinner sorted before Doctor Who starts, I do hope that it is an improvement on last week's :(

nmlc if you are anything like me i let things go for the sake of a harmonious life and i didnt want to row in front of the children.

However, many years on i am wondering if just letting things go for an easy life and to spare the children having to listen to the rows was the right thing to do.

As far as i know, it just teaches them to be a doormat. Whilst i am probably over exagerating a little bit, i dont think it was the right thing to do long term. I should have addressed these issues as they cropped up.

    Learn by my mistakes :)

    Hope all is well :)

I'm rather full from pasta bake but delish, Dh has spent all day in the garden, come in and wolfed his tea and is now plonked in front of the golf. I won't get a word out of him until the Masters finishes tomorrow night. But that's fine, that's his thing, we have a rhythm after 30 yrs together and he will definitely make it up to me in the coming week:p
Love him to bits and would be absolutely lost without him.
It's really hit home to me the last week or so since we lost our friend Life's far too short to be miserable. Do what makes you happy, really otherwise what's the point:D

Have had a very lazy day....have had a cough for a while and OH seems to think that I am about to fall off my perch so he cooked dinner to-day....steak, salad and chips, with rhubarb upside down cake to follow...nice to have a bit of fussing about....if only he would shut up about going to doc....not available until Tuesday, does he want me to go to his house!!

Welcome Jacksmummy, this is a nice place to be.

NMLC....I grew up having lots of contact with my extended family, OH seems to have had very little with his, so never understood why I wanted to keep seeing friends and relatives, gradually over the last 43 years I have started seeing people I want to see, when I want to see them...if he wants to be an unsociable g*t he can, not my problem!

Have a good weekend all, stay warm and safe
