  • Hi everyone :wave: what a glorious day here in the South :T

    Things I have done this weekend:

    * checked banking
    * done financials (updating spreadsheet/spending diary etc)
    * didn't go out last night so saved some cash there (actually really would have preferred to go out but have a sprained groin! :o)
    * planted some seeds - peppers, chillis, tomatoes, basil :j
    * rubber chicken pasta for dinner
    * took dd to bootfair and she got a load of 3-6 months baby bits & a toaster (for new flat) for £10
    * descaled a kettle picked up from a freecycler :T
    * picked up a lovely little top at a CS yesterday
    * picked up a ladder from my ex-mil - oh walked it home :rotfl:
    * got £10 ex-mil owed me

    still to do:
    * spend some time sorting out the greenhouse
    * do some more planting
    * get oh to put up temp washing line
    * hang up washing

    ok think that's enough! x

    Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
    Hello

    Just sitting down to relax after a long day at work. We had a very good day, altough because of a bad week overall not quite as far ahead as I'd like. Tommorow and tuesday Im off all day. Yipeee!

    Husband took the little man to buy a super hero outfit he wanted, which he paid for from his money box. We think this is a good way of demonstrating that things cost money as he now sees his money box is empty and will need filling before he gets another treat like that. Hes only 4 so hoping the message will install early on.

    Husband made our dinner tonight, Spagetti with olives, onions and pesto, from the cupboards. Tommorow night Im going to do a using up dinner of potato curry as we have a few roast pots left, plus butternut squash, corriander etc. Should be nice.

    10 days to payday....

    night all!
