Morning all
I am writing a to-do jobs list today because for the last few weeks I haven't and have ended up going out and spending money  I really need to get this house in some sort of order for moving. Because the sale isn't going to fall through now the mortgage is in place (buying from OH's mum who is buying an empty house so not really in a chain) I feel I should be starting to get this house ready to hand back to my landlady.
- [STRIKE]Checked bank[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]BL[/STRIKE]D from stores
- Clean kitchen/washing up, pull units out and vacuum!
- [STRIKE]Clean bathroom inside out[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Do all washing and hang some
on the airer[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Polish and dust[/STRIKE]
- Vacuum the whole house
- [STRIKE]Bake cakes and flapjacks for lunches[/STRIKE]
- Put together porridge pots for the week
- Reading with DD
- Check out moving apps and re-read the "Waiting to exchange" thread for things to do to pass the time!
This WILL stop me from leaving the house and spending money!
JxNothing to report as yet...give me a minute...!0 -

Goooood morning everyone!
I've been AWOL for weeks,
, sorry everyone! New job means I can't get on the Internet during the day, by the time I get home, walk the dogs, make dinner, tidy up, walk dogs, get a shower etc, it's pretty much bed time
Well, I am almost officially a home owner! Buying my dads home off him, mortgage offer is in the post, back at the lawyers this Friday to finalise it all :T Can't believe it, I'm a big girl now :rotfl:
So, today I shall mostly be searching for house insurance, gas and electricity suppliers, redoing my budget to include mortgage payments and new bills etc! Will be using topcashback for everything if I can! Can't think of anything smart to put here...0 -
Hi everyone
- I'm tidying round
- Doing a meal plan
- Shopping with a list and not going over it!
- Going to @ldi to see if I can save some pennies that way
- Got food out of the freezer for tomorrow's dinner
- Resisting getting takeaway - managed last night

- Bought wilkos 88p laundry powder to use as 'shake n vac' stuff

- Making up packed lunches for tomorrow
Happy Sunday everyone!0 -
My no spend weekend disappeared yesterday (we needed garlic and milk) and today as the OH wanted fresh rolls. But I did at least buy 24 cans of coconut water which was on a bogof from Tesco.0

Rehydration mainly. I have a condition that leaves me extremely thirsty and dehydrated most of the time and this stuff helps - particularly after a 12 mile walk.0 -
