Ive been AWOL for soooo long and I'm afraid my MSE days were on standstill. Lots of home stuff going on, demanding children (tigercub now has 3 teeth though), going back to work and mum having major problems.. Phew. I did get one set of Mullers before they finished though.
Ive missed you guys and I just wanted to say so:blushing:
Tigercub in bed so Ive got 20 mins for a coffee and a catch up and a list plan. Now do I chance T or A for bargains?!
Great to see you back tiger, was wondering where you had got to :T:T:TWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Just thinking that its too early to start a new thread with 11 pages to go.:) I'm very MSE and don't want to waste them:)
I'm just thinking that its a while since we covered 11 pages in daytime hours. So ill take a gamble.
Off to work now. Back here before 6pm.

Yes Artha isn t it a nuisance when they don't provide the self scanners most inconsiderate, makes things so much easier if they did have them. As to what may be reduced its pretty obvious really isn t it ( for those who dont know) just look for things that have been there for certain occasions eg Xmas Mother's Day that have passed.:)
All the stores within easy reach for me removed the scanners a long time ago. There is one now that has the handheld scanners but has a reputation among locals as being the worst store in the area for people of our bent.
You are right that for a lot of seasonal things it's pretty obvious and a matter of patience and being in the right place at the right time.:)Awaiting a new sig0 -

Hmmm but Christmas has passed but they still won't reduce the darned stuff to 1p! I confess I am a wuss testing things and rarely find working scanners. I suppose I need to be braver though to find new things. If I had a pound for every pound I'd lost, I'd be confused0 -
ChrisEvanson wrote: »Saw in one store recently Baileys miniature and chocs from Christmas, no price checker seen to test them on. £5 on shelf. Likely to be 1p? I'll pop back when I have time to try them. Also seen a pot noodle set (pot noodle and a branded PN timer) showing was £10 now £2.
Been checking these for ages still £5 last time i scanned going this affy so will check again.0 -
We'll all be queueing up to test that one!:p
Yes lol and how are you Flo ? Just to cheer you up hubby had a cough recently and took months to get rid of ( he catches them off Riley who catches anything and everything from his nursery ) He also - hubby I mean went through about 4 courses of antibiotics and a chest X-ray, which came back fine. Mind you he did have tb when he was a child.0 -

Just send a youngster over to ss tills to scan one and tell them to run away once they have scanned it - that's what my little dd does:D:Dnever stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit0 -
