    GOOD MORNING EVERYONE.:)
  • Morning everyone, working and lurking today, looking forward to the new thread TM. In my opinion the posters on this thread are very caring and sharing, and that glitch finding is more of a state of mind. Savvy posts several lists are so useful, they've saved me lots of money over time. No one should feel the need to justify their money saving needs, it saddens me that a poster felt it was necessary. We all have our reasons, and a well paid job is not guaranteed to last, especially in this economy.

Trying so hard not to bite back and failed dismally, sorry.

    good morning all

i don't post very often, but had to say i agree with the above post
saddened me to read last nights posts:(

scamps :Aplease don't feel the need to justify yourself, your posts have helped me a great deal and i am willing to MAKE time to read them,

i am very grateful to all the posters on here...remember no one HAS to post and share surly taking time to read the posts is the least we can do,if we cannot find any glitches ourselves.

    many thanks to all

    Good morning :)

A bit dreary here. Feels like a cleaning day ( no ironing, sorry ;)) I am also looking forward to the extermination of this thread and the start of a shiny new one :)

I do car boots every weekend. from what I get from here. I have to , to make ends meet. I make sure my friends, family and neighbours are ok. And then I make a living from the rest.
    That's not wrong, is it?

Not wrong at all. Also not wrong when someone who does post on here asks for some help to get some without being accused of being 'lazy' in some quarters and when they've been up since 5am, its gone midnight wanting some sleep and just trying to earn a living too!

You've probably gone off in a huff by now so it may be pointless replying but I'd just like to say that those who remain on this thread and post publicly are the last people that can be described as me me me:cool:.(no offence intended to our neighbours) 10 ways and other more public threads seem to have no problem finding things on here to give to the masses.

One further point to bear in mind. None of us pay a membership fee to view this thread so our expectations in terms of value for money should be zero. Think about it and come back and join in when you are less tired.:)

No huff here, but I'm afraid long shifts over many days and early starts do mean sleep needed! As I said earlier, too much paranoia here in some quarters and the worry 'if I put it on here it will just mean all stores being cleared' yet if nobody shared there would be nothing on the web. So yes it is selfish to refuse to share if you are asked a question and refuse to answer in case others get a bit of the action.

Thats true, i've just finished 4 12 hour nights and have caught up since yesterday tea time. Reading back 10 pages or so only takes 15 mins which is the time someone would be sat waiting for a reply anyway :o

The issue is more complex when its info that's been drip fed over months, someone comes into it who is not a newbie but doesn't always have the time to read and post (before the sarky replies come, I've got a little time having finished a long run at work but have still got 'life' things to do!) therefore the ability to read back over several 10k post threads to get all the info isn't possible.

I appreciate there are many sharers and lovely people on here, as evidenced by PM's, posts answering queries etc. But those who refuse to share their info and tell people to read back through 10's of thousands of posts ARE selfish. When its all in the last 10 pages fine, but its not.

As for the person who hinted I could lose my job, that's really lovely isn't it?!?! "I haven't a job so I'm not sharing bargains and I hope you lose yours" is how I read that?!?

All this because I politely asked for some more info on the 1p chocs?!

Anyway, I honestly don't want to fall out with you all, or upset the majority of helpful people on here. But as stated above, nobody pays a sub so this thread is open to us all. Thanks again to those who share.
If I had a pound for every pound I'd lost, I'd be confused

    Thank God for that!

Surely posting a list will just lead to the lurkers clearing the shelves faster? I'm all for helping out but I feel we should try to put the effort in to find what we want, it's more of an achievement then when we find something and let's face it that's not all that easy!

    :D

Hardly anything in my local and what few i did see yesterday had yellow stickers on top, the bu££ers lol
