Well, I made it home :j
Have taken residence in my usual position in the corner of the sofa with the laptop, have my feet up and have given DH my drinks order :D

Didn't have to wait long for medicines as they realised hospital pharmacy had closed so instead I got given an outside prescription. Had to (no word of a lie :rotfl:) go to Mr Ts as Boots were out of stock of two of the drugs. Was a good girl though aau and resisted a 1p choc hunt whilst there :p
Did end up having an argument with DH though as he got all arsey with pharmacist for calling me 'sir'. I was too glad to be out of hospital to get stroppy because I looked like a man

Also... Dr finally spoke to my consultant just before I left and he thinks I'll be fine to have my chemo tomorrow  I'm to attend my appt as planned. Will go, but not holding my breath or getting my hopes up. Was given a copy of my blood results on discharge and they are

Have had some lovely cuddles with the boys and they both went to bed far too late :o The baby has become a speed crawler since I last saw him and learnt to pull himself to stand up

Hope FC is having a lovely night out

Are you feeling any better for your rest Flo? Sorry for being naughty earlier :p:o
In all seriousness, on T.com I click on the special offers tab then the half price tab underneath and scroll down for looking for 'valid from tomorrow'. I'll then do the same for 'multibuys' tab etc or within 'offers by department' if i'm after something specific :)
♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥

I've got to level 275 without spending a penny; so it is possible. You do need facebook friends who also play to move from one episode to the next or it charges you £2.07.

If you sign onto candycrush on a pc there are more levels. I have got to 323 and it is really hard now x
    Now on the 5:2 diet.

    Lost 25 1/2 lbs :j:j:j 33 1/2 lbs to go

This made me laugh Logie- my OH thinks it is the best joke ever to call me "HE".

I hear him saying to the kids "He says you are not allowed to do that" and they all roll about laughing.

I heard him saying to my sis on the phone one night "He's busy right now can you call him back?":eek:

shop from today against tesco: (cost was £13.97 but paid with £11.96 apg so only cost £2.01 - and got £8.05 apg back for next shop):.

Bear in mind it's perhaps not as good as that seems, as part of the £11.96 voucher you've used represents the overpayment (compared to a competitor) you paid last time. It's only the 10% off amount (plus any extra from glitches) that is "free" (plus arguably the cost of petrol/diesel/bus fare if A is nearest to you and you would otherwise have had to travel to get to that cheapest competitor).

It depends how many times you 'rinse and recycle' your APG also. The first shop may well be overpriced, so the APG gives the difference plus 10% cheaper. If its stuff you wanted anyway (and assuming you had the other store nearby too, which isn't always the case) then you are only really up by the 10%. You then spend the APG and you can't say this is all free, only the 10% (plus any glitch amount) is free. As time goes on, and assuming no !!!! ups, more and more of your APG becomes paid up.

The issues some of us have are people thinking the first APG is all 'free money' when they have often bought things for more than they could have paid elsewhere in the first place. If you do a shop for say £20 (which would be say £15 elsewhere), getting an APG for £6.50 and immediately saying 'so it only cost £13.50'. No! It cost £20! The £6.50 represents £5 overspend, plus just £1.50 back.

Then some use that APG on a £20 shop, get another £6.50 back, and say 'but it only cost me £7 as I used a £6.50 APG and got another £6.50 APG. Noooooo! You are only £3 up now!

I know a lot of items glitch, and I try to buy stuff we will use or can sell. There are of course items like Soft and Gentle which isn't 20p in Tesco so can be viewed as buying for £1 (being its true cost) and getting 88p back. If however it was 20p in Tesco and freely available, it would just be 8p back.

If I had the time I guess it would be interesting to do a spreadsheet to plot APG purchases, plot what it would have cost in the other store T, M or S, add up the amount of cash spent, and then plot the actual saving and the amount received in APG and a column to work out the true return. If selling items you could then plot the cash received and offset this against cost.
If I had a pound for every pound I'd lost, I'd be confused
