Whilst I'm being grumpy Savvybunny (it's funny, I actually met an mse poster called savvybunny at my local T's a couple of years ago, I think she was savvybunny2009, but not too sure). Anyway, as I am as grumpy as a sober Scotsman this evening, I thought I would take the opportunity to compare chicken breasts with you..
In your post number 3054 you talk about 613g of chicken breasts for £4.50.
However, how about you just say Frozen Chicken Breasts in A at £4 per kg and leave it at that http://groceries.asda.com/asda-estore/search/searchcontainer.jsp?trailSize=1&searchString=asda+chicken+breast+fillets+500g&domainName=Products&headerVersion=v1&_requestid=561729
Sadly I will decline getting into any argument (in the sense of 'debate') with you SFSB, like the SP Shaving Foams last time! Not really good you see, the frozen ones. I prefer SP Chicken Breast Fillets (frozen) 1kg vs T! The 588g(?) ones in M, when they were avail, have been down before to about £3 something, so not good compared to £4.50. There may a difference between frozen and fresh, but there I'm getting into comparing the breasts with you that you wanted me to do!!:rotfl::rotfl:
Sometimes the Sada 613g have been priced at £6, whilst the others, half the size have been 2 for £5, or something like that - I've always turned that down though and bought the £6 ones as 10% than M's (former) comparable version was cheaper! It may of course be cheaper to buy straight from the slaughterhouse, although some of us, if we went into such a place, wouldn't be buying meat again perhaps. Controversy!!;):rotfl:
Off now to a different topic... as I've remembered an earlier post I was going to reply to but haven't yet!0 -
