Right before I go to bed, anyone else with a teen girl? Struggling with her to get her to choose shoes for school. Latest harping is for a pair of these from new look http://www.newlook.com/shop/teens/shoes-and-boots/teens-black-brothel-creepers_260675701 school is pretty hot on uniform, are they likely to allow these. I am so out of touch, lol.

Answering my own question now, DH (who sometimes drives the school bus) says yep they are wearing them.:o

Today I discovered the magical healing paste of Magnesium Sulphate :o

I've had an infected finger for about a week, really painful after having a splinter in it & all tender & swollen. Didn't help having to count out money all day
Wow it's good - already my finger is bearable to pressure & swelling is going down

well pleased - just a tad awkward trying to count out money with a big plaster on your index finger :rotfl:

shop from today against tesco: (cost was £13.97 but paid with £11.96 apg so only cost £2.01 - and got £8.05 apg back for next shop):.

Bear in mind it's perhaps not as good as that seems, as part of the £11.96 voucher you've used represents the overpayment (compared to a competitor) you paid last time. It's only the 10% off amount (plus any extra from glitches) that is "free" (plus arguably the cost of petrol/diesel/bus fare if A is nearest to you and you would otherwise have had to travel to get to that cheapest competitor).

well, with or without the baby new potatoes that he initially went for! i think this is an excellent shop...

Tom paid £11.96 APG + £2.01 cash... = so, in `theory` he paid out £13.97 but he got back £8.05 so his ACTUAL spend was £5.92

so if you take into account the coffee and branston alone are £5 (in Tesco) then he has got the biscuits, bombay pots and 10 activia yogurts for 87p!
It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

These also look good to go vs A on a PP shop, if you can find them in T (with £1.50 MOC).

I bought these before, and used the MOC, when they were also on one of their previous "back down to £5.00"s. This may or may not now be the same one that goes with the "free" Fairy WUL (again may get this 'free' but compare the version of WUL vs A? - saw someone's PP on here a day or two ago, doing this, but may have expired now or may not be right size of D/washer tabs) - I won't buy D/wash tabs now though due to Finish Lemon glitch earlier in the year in the Express stores.

Although when I bought my 51s Fairy tabs, with the £1.50 MOC and other MOCs of the rest of the items in my basket, I bought it on a sep.shop (and not vs A or anyone), paid for with an outstanding Price Chk voucher, I think because there was some sort of anomaly on MSM that left me in doubt as to whether A stocked this size or not - although MSM irrelevant to T's price scheme, basically I didn't want to risk it. Looking at a.com tonight, it seems okay to go but - as mentioned below - the 51 tabs, not on sada.com for me, are also not on t.com. (they may be found in store but may be rare).

It seems both the 24 pack Coke (N/A in A) and the 51 Fairy tabs are, potentially, Sains vs T items (except you don't get the 'free' Fairy WUL assuming that's still on in T or ever ran on the 51 size). However, the Cokes are currently transferring into baskets on t.com at £9.99 (because that's what the price still says at the right hand side of the list of products on t.com, although there is now a half price strapline). For this reason, I'd wait until the black price on the right says £4.99 before trying them in S - as the price picked up is probably well £9.99. (MSM says £9.99 for T for this reason and would be relevant to the APG but isn't as A doesn't stock them: I don't know what Brand View (for Sains.) would scan and pick up (from t's website on this) but it may be they also take £9.99.)

The Fairy 51 dishwasher tabs, although it seems your MSM shows T has having them, they (now) appear absent from t.com - so, if you manage to find them in T, hope you do, but if you are planning S vs T, they won't be counted in BM when they are not online. The BM comparison is taken from the online information. So the advice would be to have gone and got them before now, when t.com did have them on - NB: Sains BM scan is done once a day, at the same time each day, I suspect this is early morning and it does *not* update through the day - http://www.asa.org.uk/Rulings/Adjudications/2012/5/J-Sainsbury-plc/SHP_ADJ_174778.aspx (see point 5 of both the response and the assessment).

So - if you know 51 Fairy Dishwasher Tabs were on t.com this morning, seems good to go if you manage it tonight at Sains. (as part of a £20 shop, and max. difference £10), but need to wait for the Coke price (on the righthand side) to be £4.99 on t.com:mad:. (Seems no use again, for me, as I can compare one item from Sains but not the other - except to a £9.99 (the cokes) that I wouldn't ever knowingly compare to!!:mad:) Check where MOCs for the Fairy are valid - no point buying Svs T if the £1.50 coupons are only for purchases in T (or if T 'give' you an extra product as well, the Washing Up Liquid of your choice (??? or not if it was a different offer) - if the 'free' WUL is avail. (it may not be), choose one that happens to be cheaper in A - using Coke 24 and 51 Fairy as filler items that are N/A for A to build up your shop to the amount that gives £x off).

    TOO MUCH AGAIN!!:mad::mad::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

So savvybunny the abridged version of above I presume to be
Coke good for a BM but not until thursday and check t price showing on mys first.
Don't have a dishwasher and mum has banned me buying anymore for atleast 18 months.
