Really annoyed at 1.5litre milk
The cheapest place to get milk is
farmfoods but miles away.
next nearest places are
lidls at retail park.
or mcols postiffice/shop in high street 4pints/2lites for £1.
today went in adn they have robert wiseman milk and its gone down in size to 1.5litres so 3pint cartons.
Never seen this before.
They had multibuy buy 2 for £1.80 so 6pints for 1.80 when used to get 2pints for £2-I lost 2pints.
we get through 8pints a day.
so brought 3 for £2.80 =9pints
£3 would have given me 12pints so lost 3pints and end up having to spend £3.60 just to have enough.
I do hope other retailers will not follow suit did tell shop im not happy and may stop buying milk there as they now not much cheaper than sainsburys or co-op think £1.25 per 2lites so £2.50 gives me 8pints were as 1.80 in shop gets me 6pints im paying extra 70p to get extra 2pints or litre..
Things are shrinking its not good.

asda, lidl and aldi all £1 for 4 pints. 2 litres is quite a lot less than 4 pints.People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

You may or ay not have noticed not a lot of grass growing of late, COws need feeding, no grass means bought in food ... Expensive, costs go up so milk has to follow suit, to meet the same price as people are used to paying that means less product, sadly going to have to get used to it."Man invented language to satisfy his deep need to complain."

.
I'm sure this started around the end of last year in our area - noticed it in all the local shops.
Asda and Tesco still selling bigger milk 'cartons' (we always call them milk gallons, don't ask me why).0 -
The cheapest milk is Sains skimmed powder 25p per litr.Make it up yourself. More water or less water according to taste.
Same nutrition per 100g. Just get used to it. At 1 litre usage per day savings are £90 a year ....forever0 -
Why? If op uses skimmed or semi skimmed I would have thought healthy (I think toddler needs full fat though). And of course as long as sugar is not added to drinks or in the cereal.
Milk is healthy, but the cereal its going on might not be and 8 bowsl a day is going to be filling any kid up and stop them eating more balanced food!People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.
