Are you referring to the Debt Free and Proud badge?beanielou said:When the forum upgraded I seemed to not have my DFW badge on display. Is there a way I can get it to show again. Thanks 😊
If so. I see it in your profile

Mentioning someone in a discussion (like this: @redux) is a great way to encourage dialog and let them know who you’re talking to.redux said:May I enquire about the purpose of the so-called Name Dropper badge - what is its purpose, and who is patrolling parts of the forum doling this out completely unsolicited, can it be removed on request?
The computer software automatically awards it to users who make such a post.
Sorry I meant:
MSE Badger who is a funny, furry creature, wanders the forums looking for good deeds and fabulous MoneySaving to reward people for.
I'm not sure if badges, once awarded can be removed, but if it is presumably you would need to email the Forum Team direct to request this.

What Badges are there?
There are plenty of badges to aim for and we'll be adding more too. You can see the full list on the badges page ....
I suspect those in MSE Towers have got their hands full with more pressing issues at the moment, so I've not emailed them.Whoops!
Sorry, you’ve landed on a page that doesn’t exist. If you found yourself here after clicking a link on this site please email us on: BrokenLink@MoneySavingExpert.com and let us know which page you clicked the link from and we’ll sort it out.1 -
I am probably confusing you. The bit either at the side or top of my post. I can’t see it showing? Thanks 😊Biscuit_Tin said:

It only shows 4 badges under your name at the side. It seems these can be any 4 at random, or perhaps, the latest 4 awarded, if you have more than 4 in your profile.beanielou said:

So it's probably just reaching some threshold of having used the quote function a predefined number of times?Biscuit_Tin said:

I was trying to find this list of badges but all you get if you click on the badge list link in MSE Badger's is an error message ("Whoops! Sorry, you’ve landed on a page that doesn’t exist..."). Does anyone know where this is now please?.

Maybe he ‘retired’ when the forum refreshed recently.
