Most of the offers for everything will change on weds, but you'll be able to view them online from tomorrow afternoon.0 -
how to recognise who is a supervisor, from dressing code?
tried to do a hb shop today, a mid aged woman changed over with the lad sa just when he finished the customer b4 me, though maybe it was his break and it was not my day, so dumped the hb shop and just went for basic stuffs that we need. then a min later, saw the lad walked to another till to change over with another girl, so it was not his break. am i paranoid that i have been watched?
if it was the girl sa turn to have a break, why didn't the mid aged woman just take over her till instead of moving mine?0 -
in my store depends what till you are on the 10 items or less tills usually have a limit on the time one sa spends on them at times we will have 1/2 sa doing breaks at a certain time they will be taken off their till so they can relive others for their break so will b on one till for 15mins or half hour etc then move onto next one hope that makes senseLead us not into temptation...
just tell us where it is and we'll find it....0 -
I had two great h&b shops today, first time in ages and it felt really good! LOL (I need to get out more me thinks!)
I purchased:
2 x Always ultra £2.99 each (deal 2 for £4)
2 x Simple handwash £1.98 each (BOGOF)
24p bar of soap
Total: £7.22 used:
£2.50 HB
£2.50 SB
2 x £1 toiletry (as £1.25 QK wouldn't scan)
plus a few MOCs leaving me £2+ in credit!
Second shop
2 x Always ultra (same as above)
2 x Dove handwash £1.65 (BOGOF)
1 x dental floss harps £1.57
Total:£7.22 (How bizarre!)
Used:
£2.50 HB
£2.50 SB
£1 HB
£1.25 QK + £2.50 worth of MOC leaving me £2.53 in credit!
Bonus was I received a till spit for cereal, only thing is I didn't look till after, and it had come out of my first shop, whereas the second shop was the one that had cereal so could have used straight away! Ugh!
Also picked up an allergy goodie bag from the pharmacy, so added bonus.
Will try the John Frieda satchets before the 24th if I can, with maybe 2 more toiletry shops to use up some last MOC and clubcard points too."I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0 -
no i was on the normal till, not 10itemsorless ones.
that's why i feel very suspicious, if it was the girl's turn to have a break, why the old woman not just takeover her till, instead takeover the lad's till and the lad has to walk down a few tills to the girl's one to takeover hers?

A few years ago I was a front end supervisor in Safeway, what we used to do was have 1 member of staff who covered tes breaks.so would cover mrs ??? checkout then when she came back cover miss ???? checkout tht way you do not have to close checkouts to allow cashiers to have a break,HTH:rotfl:0 -
been told by someone who worked for quicksave before, they used to randomly pick one till at the of each day and checked all the transactions on that till to spot any usual/ doggy activities. do they do that in t?0

Well I went to my big local Tesco's today to have a look for some of these voucher booklets you lot are using. All I could find was the Quit Kit. They had loads of these all at the bottom of the tills (I felt like a criminal putting them in my bag!). I picked up 4 of them altogether. I couldn't find any of the others, looked all over. There doesn't seem to be much useful in this Quit Kit, is this the least useful one I could have found?Mother, wife, scientist, analyst.
