suddenly a thought, if our house got raided (touchwood better not), how r we going to justify the river of toiletries hidden everywhere? OH said: "there may be a bird flu, and at least we will die clean." :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

the things that go through the fastest are hand wash and bath foam, we have been stocking up on these.
  • i'm just hoping there is a impulse type recall on impereal leather shower gel as we have got tons of the stuff.all free of course:rotfl: :rotfl:

my mum reckons it is immoral but didn't complain when i gave her a bag of stuff

my OH is much worse, every time when he took me to t and i used coupons, he would lecture me and did many gestures (in public) to make me feel guilty and inferior. at the same time, he enjoys all the stuffs that i got from couponing.
so i have enough one day and told him off in the car, he can continue to play high and dry and get his own toiletries and clothes from now on. he cannot condemn drug dealing and taking drug everyday, that is just hypocrisy. i am not doing anything illegal or wrong, so there is no point trying to make me feel bad about myself because i won't. he shuts up from then on.

did anyone ever get divorce over tescoing?
  • oh was v sceptical at 1st and still takes the p at amount of shower gel etc we got stashed but is comming round and did ask yesterday whether his razor blades came under h/b told him only if they are gogof:rotfl:

LOL, I haven't yet Vellum, but my hubby has said 'ooh, have you ripped off Tesco again today!?' I feel bad for maybe a nano second, then casually ask him which deodrant or shower gel he'd like to claim as his own out of the bunch! :D

My oh chuckled over my new obsession with coupons at first, but having realised how much I have saved over the last few weeks.. and enjoying his free beers.. he is much more accepting now. He's even said he'd be willing to do a seperate shop at a different till to maximise coupons... after he found himself pressed ganged into splitting the shopping with me the other night, lol.

Divorce is a bit strong but my o/h thinks I'm obsessed. I went out for a drink with my daughter last week for a night out, came home & all my coupons were in the recyle bin wet, the hose was out.

If your man has a problem tell him to get a hobby too, we enjoy what we're doing that's it.

But just watch yourselves girls and hide your coupons. :rotfl:

I have a stash of coupons in a plastic bag in my handbag now.. my purse was being ruined by being crammed full of the things ;) . If anyone messed with them they'd be risking life and limb.. :D

[I was gutted the other day, having left my vouchers at home while taking a few days break in York... only to end up in a Tesco and couponless.. agghhhh!!.. lol]

Exactly the same in this house, my OH travels all over east anglia, and he's been told to get petrol, dinner and now any coupons he finds at all tesco's. He's got the little book that tells you where tescos are so he knows, he even admitted to crossing out the ones he'd been to off in the book! Don't you just love em! :j
