Oohh the excitement yesterday when I finally found some of the Active packs in my local store - I was SO excited as I sneaked 4 away.

The disappointment when I ran back to the car and opened them to find they had expired!

What annoys me is that these have definitely not been out on show before - I have been looking everywhere for them - and then they put them out once they are out of date!

Still did find 2 Quit Packs left in a box so am off today to see what goodies I can get for next to nothing!

EssexMaid these out of date ones are at the little Tesco in Hornchurch! I picked up the last two Quit Packs, if they have any when I go tomorrow, I'll get you some.

Just reading through some of the posts before I nip out (might see if I can pop into a different Tesco on my way to search out coupons) can I just ask:-

Can I use more than 1 £1.25 coupon from the Quit Packs (the new ones)? Some of you seem to be able to hand in more than one - I know you could with the old ones providing one was Beauty and one Toiletries.

    and secondly

Where are the Joh Freida coupons coming from?

    Cheers

Yes, it can't be just a coincidence that so many stores put out vouchers in the last day or two before they expire. last week my local put out three boxes of quit packs - Yay! New quits I thought! Then got to the car and realised they were the long expired old ones!! No doubt they will leave those out until the current ones expire, then put those out! I asked for a goodie bag at a pharmacy a while back - at first she tried to pretend she didn't know what I meant, until I pointed to the box behind the counter, then she looked at me in disgust and said,, 'WELL, noone has EVER asked me for one of those before!' She then thought very quickly, and said I could only have one if I had a 'medication review' from my GP!!! Whatever that meant. So any guesses what happens to all their goody bags....I certainly didn't get one, and the next day the box had vanished from behind the counter - and I've never, ever seen a customer with one...The same store never has any leaflets or vouchers of any description. Funny all these people selling large quantities on ebay...

Hmmm very strange Hippygirl ive been thinking along the same lines too, funny as well how some stores accept them and some dont i thought stores werent independant but seems they are:rotfl: ,,

I expect its so we buy more whilst we go there.....

What are the staff benefits they must be good do they get a shared profit from the store??.......If so that explains why a relative has just taken on a position:rotfl:
  • Blimey, can't believe how many offers Tescos has on! I thought I was doing well to get some H&B vouchers and Quit Kits - didn't know there were any others as well. What do the So Beautiful leaflets look like? Many thanks in advance for any help!

The So Beautiful booklets are like mini magazines and have the face of a blonde on the cover. Just inside the cover are 3 tear off coupons for £2.50 off £10 spend, £1.50 off John Frieda range and 60p off Soft & Gentle Eden range.

staff benefits are 10% discount card after a full years service and shares worked out on whole company profit not indevidual store, and amount you get is dependant on hours you are contracted to work and you have to have worked for a year before the cut off date(not sure when that is)you also have to option to buy shares but you cant access any of them for 3 yrs (then you pay tax&ni) or 5 yrs(no tax &ni)
