  • my post was not set out to offend it just means don't be greedy and take the pi$$ all the time and DO NOT USE YOUR CLUBCARD!

Hi Sarah , I've been using my clubcard with every h&b shop = using the 50 pointers.

mind you I've only been doing 2 sometimes 3 h&b shops per week , one of those is my main shop too.

I'd read something about not using your cc with h&b shops .....but what can they do as these are vouchers that they've issued?......sorry in the dark over this one, I know they can see your transactions through it .........

I use as many vouchers as I'm allowed and I use my cc. The only stopper for me is if I think the till person would get in trouble so I ask them.

Don't see the problem if your using Mr T's own vouchers. I'm on overdrive at the moment as I've lots of sb's to get rid of by Sunday.

for all of you not using your clubcards - do you not bother with all the 50 point H&Bs?

I had a few H&B points coupons, so I did use my Clubcard to gain them. I've held back on using my Clubcard whilst using the £6 clothing coupons though cos they really shouldn't scan the way they do [as they sa that served me, pointed out herself, lol], so I don't want Mr T paying too much attention to my couponing habits.

I've also not used my clubcard on a couple of H&B spends where I've maxed my coupons and picked up perfume really cheaply. After all, the So Beautiful, H&B etc do say 1 coupon per transaction, and if I've used 2 or 3 of each I'd rather Mr T didn't notice that either.

Me too! But I can't find any cheap JF products at my local metro store (I do wish Mr T would build a nice big store near where I live) will have to try a larger store in the next town tomorrow. All I got today was 4xfoot spray@ 1.98 and a pk of tablets @16p and used 2.00 quit and 1.00 H&B + mail voucher for 1.50. SA didn't want to take the tesco vouchers (said I could only use 1) but supervisor said it was ok, phew! I wanted to give her another 1.00 H&B but I didn't have the nerve to ask her to take 2 of the same voucher. I knew she was going to give me trouble before she served me...I could tell (middle aged, sour faced, etc...)
However, lady on CS desk was really nice. I bought a product from the healthy living range and tried to use 100p voucher from healthclub, but it wouldn't scan. I've tried this 3 times now. Explained to CS lady and she added the points on. She asked me how I'd joined the club as she wanted to join too. She also said how much she loved vouchers and used as many as possible when she does her shopping. I hope I find her on a till sometime. She sounds like my kind of SA. A rare breed in my local store...unfortunately.

because the 50 pointers say one per transaction, so you are only fully entitled to use 1 per shop - however if you use loads it is known by tescos as points abuse and they can nab back your points.........all of them - just becareful not to overdo it
coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there

 Thanks for the heads up Sarah.

I'd be mortified if any of my points were taken....especially since I've been points boosting a lot this quater .....hoping to put towards the family holiday next year.

i'm not saying stick to one coupon but set yourself a limit, they are getting wise and i would not like to lose the points i do have by just being tempted to use an extra couple of 50 pointers, if for example you do 4 shops a week and your spending 40-50 pounds but gaining 1500 points each time that would flag up on there system, look at it another way - how much are you saving...........................................
