this thread seems to be going down the path of the old r n r misprices one. No-one can be bothered to read the first page and loads of newbies asking the same questions, that thread was shut down and with the amount of people trying to coupon out tescos it won't be long before this one is closed and tesco put on a bit clamp overall on coupons and then we all miss out...................again
coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there

Sorry if you are referring to me (a newbie) I have read the first page and it does make sense, I just wanted a few things clarified, anyway think I am clear now on the h&b coupons - have found some more posts about them and it obviously depends on the store - also I have found that I have a selection of other vouchers in my QUIT pack (that I didn't see before) I just wish I had picked up a few more packs now (a big stash of them and no sa in sight)

Sorry if I have offended anyone by asking stupid questions..

Believe me I am not really that likely to be going too mad with these coupons as I don't get out that much...and am a bit of a scaredy when it comes to these things..

Start being worried when you ask as many stupid questions as I have!

    Welcome aboard

Hi, I am really new to all this and finding it all quite baffling (I am a bit thick though :o ) anyway I have just got back from a reasonably good shop, I pulled out my m&t vouchers and my other ones I got with my clubcard ones (can you believe I used to end up throwing these in the bin!!!)

Anyway go 1274 points (althoug I did spend £48) but god nappies and the like, but I am interested in all your h&b posts, how does this work? and how do you get these vouchers? am I right that they are money off vouchers as opposed to points?

Sorry if this a stupid question or if I am asking in the wrong place...

p.s. I posted on another thread for this but I have found that Tesco are selling off their packs of 3 baby wipes (their own brand) for £1.35 per pack (usually around £3) they are in the discontinued area...

Also I picked up a QUIT pack, but just vouchers for nicotine stuff inside did I notice that these can be used for other things?

    Soooo many questions

But I am soooo glad to have found this site

Hi and welcome to the thread :)

The ones in the quit pack you'll probably find the most use for are

    £1.25 off a £5 purchase( use 2 of these on a £10 purchase)
    40p off colgate
£1 off colgate plax mouthwash (if they're on offer)
    £2 off healthcare

you may find reading the last 5 or 6 pages of the thread useful for current offers and findings.

Don't be wary of asking questions as we were all new once and as Martin says

Ok so what someone is saying is that if you use the coupons (in magazines etc that are not clubcard specific) not to use the clubcard or else it will show up what is being done....the points I collected today on my shop were all my own that I had received on 1 clubcard account so i would have thought that was ok..please correct me if I am wrong

    Thanks

how to recognise who is a supervisor, from dressing code?

tried to do a hb shop today, a mid aged woman changed over with the lad sa just when he finished the customer b4 me, though maybe it was his break and it was not my day, so dumped the hb shop and just went for basic stuffs that we need. then a min later, saw the lad walked to another till to change over with another girl, so it was not his break. am i paranoid that i have been watched?

if it was the girl sa turn to have a break, why didn't the mid aged woman just take over her till instead of moving mine?

In a store I used to work in, there would be one person doing others breaks. Ie, this boy woul let the woman go for her break, and then she'd come back to her till and he'd go let the next person off for their break.. they'd come back to their till and he'd let someone else off etc. Though in other stores it's been different, but it could be that he was the one doing breaks.

    how to spot a supervisor?

Managers don't wear the checked shirts, they wear a pink/blue shirt with a blazer. Beneath them are like team leaders, and in the stores round here they just wear the uniform, so there's no way to tell who they are from their uniform. They don't have a badge (Again in our stores)

Well, I use my clubcard most of the time, even when I do a H&B shop! However, I don't use too many vouchers, so I wouldn't say I was taking the P. If the SA's accept them as part payment, how can Tesco pull you up for trying to rob them?
