    Hi DG,

    Yes it's very confusing, all the videos and patterns I find on the net seem to be American, so it's the second one I'm doing which I guess is the American double or the English treble. Well I bet that's clear as mud:o sorry for the confusion, as I said I am a beginner.
    But this does seem to be working at last! I'm now the proud owner of two crochet coasters and a half a blanket:D

    Ooooh think I might get my !!!!!! in gear then and actually learn crochet.... I have the wool, the hook and a book.... Think I've even got a DVD somewhere I found in a charity shop.....frankly I don't have enough hours in the day to do all I want to....damn eating and sleeping :rotfl:
    But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D
