you asked what you were 'owed'/
you earn a decent living so why should you be owed anything?

you have chosen to have a chikld, so support it yourself!

disabled and sick poepke are getting their benefit xur ... so why do you think you should xhoose to have a baby and get paid for it?

Nanny, I find your attitude a bit odd. Any reference to any possible cut / fraud / scrutiny of disability-related benefits, and you are up in arms.

Here, however, you are the Daily Mail made flesh.

I know you are disabled yourself, but that doesn't seem to make your attitude entirely fair.
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.

Op - until you live together you are not a couple and she can get all the. Benefits a single disabled parent or parent to be will get. Once you move in it will be CB only,

Why all the nasty comments on here? If a disabled / unemployed asks about entitlement and people comment then the link to

It's about their entitlement - comes out

People who work who have a partner they don't live with are entitled too. All he did was ask.

it just annoys me that people think they are 'owed' through choices they make.
when people that have little or no choice in their situations are being penalised

The true picture of New Labour's social engineering is emerging. People earning a decent wage are thinking they can rake in the moolah by having babies. Labour have destroyed this country, where has the self respect gone out of today's youth ? Isnt nobody ashamed of begging for money from the state ?

    You Sir/ Madam,

    Are quite simply an idiot.

I would formulate a lengthier retort to your post, however I suspect that your intellectual quotient lies somewhere between a weathered rock and a crushed lettuce.

I would have better luck marketing a prawn and sh*t sandwich than having a reasoned argument with someone as closed minded and arrogant such as to make sweeping assumptions and unqualified statements.

As for the remainder of readers, I have found my answer from the posters who actually met the requirement of the topic; to discuss facts regarding entitlement. Others for some reason saw it as a platform to flame someone who makes more than they do; probably out of jealousy.

In close I thank constructive posters for their time and input. I will no longer be responding or subscribing to this thread.

    Au revoir.

Crikey! From his last post, I did wonder if the op had just read the complete works of Henry James. Also, following his last sentence he should possibly have checked the dictionary definition of au revoir before using it to sign off.

It's ironic as you seem to imply that you are on a high salary yet your post is about what you are owed, assuming that you don't think you earn enough to support your family?

As I have said many times, people today view money and life as being that there is never enough.

What happened to the long standing phrase that enough is enough when you have enough to get by. Any more than enough is too much of enough.
