Hi sorry about that! A rooky member who didn't know how to reply to a thread! So I've ended up talking to myself!! Not for the first time! I think I have it now, so all being well all future replies will include the original quote! Such a duffer!

6 posts in 9 minutes, including time to find how to quote .... that's some going on a forum by anyone's standard and shows a decent command of the keyboard .... one post would probably have done more to put Eric's suspicious thinking aside, but at least we seem to have gained a newbie with a sense of humour ...

It wasn't actually my own suspicious thinking : what I actually said was that some people might have such thoughts.

Apologies ... I simply took the term 'us', in the context and format utilised, as being a nominally self inclusive term ...

So correction, instead of the term "one post would probably have done more to put Eric's suspicious thinking aside", I'll accept that wording it as ... "one post would probably have done more to put Eric's possible reader subset with a suspicious turn of mind, which may or may not include Eric, aside" ... would have been less presumptive .... but then again, 6 posts in 9 minutes would likely swell the membership of said subset ...
