Maximising income - Mystery Shopping? Surveys? (Part Two)

F*ck off and try and demonstrate your cool life on another forum (the irony!).
This thread's always better without useless bone idle people like you cluttering it up.
Secret agents? Why do you think this? Jealous of all the free food, drink, clothes, hotel stays, petrol, gym memberships, breakdown cover? I could go on but I have a life to live - one that's paid for by a little mystery shopping every now and then.
P!ss off and be "cool" somewhere else.
I don't really think this sort of language is acceptable on a board, however much you try and disguise it and totally outside the spirit of how the boards are supposed to run.
We're never all going to agree about everything on here, so live and let live. I know to some people it's a lot more important than others and I've had my share of disagreements about MS, because to me it's a few nice freebies and a bit of a jolly.
Which doesn't mean to say I don't fill out my reports properly, before anyone starts!
And if you're still here Sara-rara, please don't be put off, by some people who treat it all very seriously and don't like anyone who might approach it a bit less so.0 -
I think you've misunderstood my post completely - Sararara appeared on here, asked for effort-free advice and a silver plate to be served it on. Not only that but as nobody was willing to spoonfeed her she decided that we were all desperate wannabee secret agents!
I would never usually speak in that tone but the attitude from sararara stunk and I think it's ridiculous that she's 'above' having to actually read the posts to start MSing.
I don't by any means take MSing too seriously but I do do a good job and get rewarded with better paying and nicer jobs for my hard work. People that don't take it seriously just give themselves and the rest of us a bad name and the requirements get more onerous because of it, therefore removing the joy of MSing because lets face it, the money alone isn't enough to keep people MSing.0 -
Hello:wave: I've just spent the last few hours trawling through this thread:D I'm now VERY confused:rotfl: I think I probably will join a site or two, and see if I'm up to this. ( That's if any accept me!) I'd just like to say a huge thank you to all those who have posted advice and explanations. I haven't thanked anybody yet, but when I get my strength back will thank those I've found most helpful ( not playing favourites but stand up and take a bow Timmne and jobbingmusician:T ) The thanks may well appear on your most recent, and not most helpful post:rotfl:

And been accepted for Maxim eventually! I think this board is great and your all fab! Timmne might have got stressed earlier (with reason) but he's been a great help to me!I'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!:mad:0 -

Thanx guys
GFK accepted me this morning but i had one question wrong on the test and couldnt for the life of me work out which one it was but i got there in the end by changing every single answer to find it
Is it normal to feel this nervous before the first visit? I feel as though im waiting to see the dentist! I love my gorgeous little girl0 -
Besides TNS and the old NOP, does anyone know of any other MS companies that pay with PAYE, as opposed to a contractor/self-employed basis?0

Yes, I was really nervous before my first job last June! But it was fine, just keep a cool head, don't panic!
My top tip is this: If you can't remember exactly what you're meant to be looking for, or doing, or if you want to make a note of something, pretend your mobile is ringing, step outside the store to "take the call" out of sight of the assistant, and sneak a look at your briefing sheet or make a few notes. Also, no-one will bat an eyelid if you look like you are sending a text message inside a shop either, so I often use the Memo feature on my phone to jot down a few notes right under their noses!! :rotfl: :rotfl:
I'm doing a mobile phone one this afternoon where I have to count how many handsets of each make they have on display - not quite sure how I'm going to be able to do that without them either (a) sussing me out or (b) thinking I'm barking mad!!!We’ve had to remove your signature. I usually unplug my home phone on my way out and ring myself and tell my girlfriend (1571!) about the store - the other day I 'asked her' which scratchcard she wanted when I had to note down which were displayed!0

Oh God what a brilliant idea!! :rotfl: :rotfl:
Wish I'd thought of that yesterday when I did the Scratchcard assignment - luckily the 2 shops I went to only had one display unit each but it was the 10-cassette one, and I found it really hard to remember what was where!!! And they wanted us to do up to 4 display units! :rotfl:We’ve had to remove your signature.
