THis afternoon I had an email from Grassroots - jobs available.
I checked and the last one I missed became unavailable 2 hours before the email was sent.

    Grrrr!!!

Really annoying. Perhaps an email to GR is on the way from me to say either do it properly or not at all!!

I have done phone shops for gap, but have had to revisit them as they have been completely naff. Not enough staff/information or the willingness to bother trying to sell anything. The one near me has only 1 team member in there and the shop is in the middle of a very busy town centre Doh!

I did a MS earlier today, I read the brief and all the incentives she was going to try and offer me, all the deals that are available and what she should say at the start and end of the visit. Got in there she basically asked me what I wanted, picked up a brochure and said 'take that away, have a look and if you see anything you like, let me know'...and that was it! I tried to make her sell me something but she was adament that that wasn't going to happen so I was stood there in total silence lost for words :rotfl: ah well, her loss..

  • Maybe grg should start sending emails out to say there were some jobs in the last hour good luck getting one! I have had 3 emails so far and still only the same job available from the past week! On the job I tried to complete for gap at the phone shop, the lad in there just folded the corner of the brochure and said that's so you won't lose the page and that was about the extent of the whole conversation!
  • I've submitted my 1st report to GapBuster will they give me feedback on my report? Any problems or whether it was ok and that I've been accepted for payment?

You will only hear of them if there are any problems with the report. In their case it's "no news are good news". The payment will then simply show up with the November payment ... for which you won't get a payslip or similar.

    No, you'll hear nothing!!

If you get paid on 24th November then good, if not, that's when you have to find out what was wrong!

GAP are very jobsworthy and will try their hardest not to pay you it seems. You'll most probably be fine though as long as you've ticked all the boxes!

I've just signed up for my fisrt Grass Roots mystery shopping thingy!

It's in a place i was already going to at a time i was already going to be there!!!

Only trouble is, i was going as part of a group, and will need to pay my own to get the reciept seperately. It's a £30 one, and i definately won't spend all that, so a free night out!!!

    Wish me luck!
