Buyer says they've paid . But I haven't received it .

Update :

phoned paypal , they looked into it quite thoroughly , they asked me for the buyers name and username and checked their account ( which kinda surprised me) , and looked at all their transactions over the last 3 weeks , they could find no evidence of the buyer even trying to pay for the item .

So - I'm pretty annoyed , this buyer has wasted me a lot of time , can I report them to ebay , they did after all tell me twice they had paid , or is it not worth it , would ebay do anything anyway ?

It takes 5 minutes to check if someone as paid. The rest of the time wasted was your own doing.

Unless you mention the word paypal when there are so many other things being looked at in this thread then no it is not clear.

It is to YOU but not to others and that is why I mentioned making it clearer. You can't just assume that others know what you think they do

All you need to do is open a NPB (Non Paying Buyer) report as theonlywayisup suggested in post #5
