I hope that you enjoyed your day.
I know that you are worried about going to the dentist so (((HUGS))) take a few deep breaths before you go in and hopefully you will be fine. Is it just a check-up? I hope it goes well.
Hey
How are you?
I am okay now. Only had 1 panic attack and 1 asthma attack going up to dentist. They want me back thoughCome 16th July i am going to be tearing my hair out cos i gotta get an old filling replaced. It fell out - but they need to clean the area and said it would take time - im already feeling very ill about the thought of having to have work done!
The only time i am happy (truely) is when i am out with my camera. Its the only time i can relax and enjoy myself without thinking about anything as all i am focusing on, is my subject through the lens lol.
Now i gotta fix my phone. I have the Nokia 6111 and i have had screen problems (white screen) but its the ribbon cable, so i have opened the phone up and just need to replace it. Should be easy enough.... now, where did i put that tiny little starshape screwdriver.......Never do things tomorow when you can do them today.0 -

Hi there
Have you told your dentist how you feel, I am sure if he/she knew they would do something to help.
Have you thought about speaking to a trained herbalist. Also, listening to relaxation tapes help Try listening for 10 mins and then gradually increase as you learn to relax. If you have an mp3 player and downloaded that I am sure your dentist would let you play that during treatment.
It is a terrible thing to feel uncomforatble going out and to stressful situations, so I wish you good luck and hope things will turn around for you
Regards

Good afternoon everyone.
Now, I had the strangest dream last night. I'm not one for having 'normal' dreaming, but last night's one really struck a chord with me. I can remember at one point me saying 'Everyone else is changing and I dont know what to do.' I've been thinking about this a lot today, as I said it to a person who I really respect but don't see anymore, and I know exactly what I'm on about. The thing is, I've never talked about it to anyone, so it was kind of strange that it came up in my dream! It was a really profound moment for me.
I've spent the day revising as I've got my exam tomorrow and I'm panicking about it. I'll just be so pleased when its over tomorrow.
Hope everyone else is okay.

Hi all - hope everyone is well.
McLaren - have you told your dentist how this makes you feel? I have a couple of friends who are exactly the same and they get a sedative to take prior to the appt. It helps them get through the appointment. Loved your pictures too. Do you do it for a living or for a hobby?
I had a check up today as well. Just a clean and back in 6 months.
Went to see Pirates earlier. Now I absolutely loved the first 2 films. I adore Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom. The third one was way too long and I lost track of the story line! It must be my age. So I just sat and drooled over Johnny and Orlando.
RBK, Tiff, Ethel, SF, Katie, Rose, LTD, LRS, Flis, Gillette and anyone who my ikkle brain hasn't mentioned - hope you are all okay.

I used to be really slim and was also diagnosed with underactive thyroid - it only took ten years! lol!
I put on more than three and a half stone but now that I do not feel so exhausted have decided that there is more to life than what you weigh.

Your generousity of spirit shines through in your posts and I am sure than no one judges you as harshly as you do yourself.
Give yourself a big hug.
Have streaming cold so am making spag bol or spicy mince with new potatoes for tea then may go and lie down with hot water bottle, hot drink and a couple of library books and sniffle to my heart's content. DH cannot complain about me waking him up as he gave me the blasted cold in the first place."This site is addictive!"

Good Evening all,
hope you all had reasonable day,i know all the dentist bit,it is possible to be prescribed valium before a trip to the dentist and there are certain dentists who can give you a shot before treatment, don`t whether you can get this on the NHS though.

Been having a look at your reply to my post, thanks for taking the time to answer in detail,
the alcohol thing is ingrained with my workload and a massive trigger esp after a hard days graft performing miracles, however i would say that generally i am pleased with my current controlled drinking efforts but when the depression arises from within i can go OTT.
I tend to suffer from chronic depression about once a month and thats where i was when i posted the other day, kinda thought it was better to get it out rather than sit around considering 1way ticket to a tall spot shall i say.
The other stuff i mentioned well we all have that s**t to deal with it just becomes magnified at times.
With regard to my son well hes always had issues with me,an angry young man at times i guess,i don't think i am prepared to be told what to do with my life considering i lost the lot when i divorced his mum for adultery(tempted to rant here but i will refrain!).
well nuff said for now
kind regards

Hi all,
Thanx for your thoughts.
I still haven't eaten and swallowing squash/tablets is a problem.

Maybe I should market the tonsilitus diet.
Take care of yourselves

Good luck in your exam tomorrow sf :T0 -
Ethel, I am glad to hear that your ankle is a little better. How did the appointment with the consultant go?
What a naughty cat lol
Awww I'm glad to hear that your relationship with your boyfriend is improvingmaybe he's realised how lucky he is and has decided to make more of an effort
How are things with your daughter? Is she still in the same hospital? Are things any better?
Did you do anything nice over the bank holiday weekend?
Katie, How are you? How has your day been?
mclaren, I agree with the others, if going to the dentist causes you panic attacks/asthma attacks then you should enquire about sedation.
Did you fix your phone?
slowlyfading, What else happened in your dream? Does it make sense to you?
GOOD LUCK for your exam tomorrow!
Karrie, How are you? lol at least you enjoyed the talent on screen ehI've not seen any of the POTC movies yet. Everyone has been talking about it though, so i should probably watch the first 2 at some point
elona, I hope you are tucked up in your nice warm bedGet better soon! Look after yourself. xxx
andipandi, How are you? How has your day been?
Gillette, You're being missed in the arms. A few people have noticed that you haven't been around much recently.
I really hope you get well soon. I've never had tonsillitis but can imagine it's very painful. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water/fluid and get yourself off to the Doctor's ASAPGet well soon! (((HUGS)))
I looked on facebook earlier and came across lots of people whom I used to go to school with. They weren't particularly nice to me but I still remember them. Everyone has so many pictures on the profiles and they all look like they have had so much fun. It makes me feel quite sad tbh. Where did it all go wrong for me? I really do despise myself.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--
