She's been pretty much ok this weekend really.. she's doing quite well at not self harming quite as much but I worry that she's finding other ways that we can't see
I agree with rbk and have said as much before - you are the best mother you can be to her angel.:T :A
I so admire you because you're on high alert 24/7. Just remember hun, you can't be everywhere all the time. You are an inspiration angel.

Im just working my way through all my University work, having a good clear out. I have came across my dissertation:eek: i did only a year ago on trauma, it has alot in it about PTSD, Traumas people go through, whether it be seeing someone you love die, or havin cancer yaself, or people in chronic pain. As some of you may know I create pieces of work about issues i have been in or through, some very personal. One person I researched was an artist called Deborah Padfield, she is a chronic pain sufferer, and did a project with people who were suffering both mentally and physically. I got in touch with Deborah through email, and she was a great help in helping me understand pain, but more importantly understanding myself. And the sheer fact she took the time to help me with my dissertation by getting back to me, made me feel like i was somehow important
Anyhoo I think sometimes we all end up, me included thinking about the bad things. When I look at it, and look how much work i did at uni and the marks i got. when at the start of uni i had been sexually assaulted and hit down pretty bad, i still kept going, it was me that had the strength to keep going. And I got my degree, even tho i went through hell while at uni, i got through it all, and im still standing :T :T :T

Also, does anyone have any idea of what I should wear? It's part time retail work, so would a suit be a bit OTT?Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

Sunday May 21st
Ive decided to start putting like a diary thing - hope its okay with ppl......
Why is it that this month is the worst yet..... Today, my grans brother died.... its like an omen really - the month of may is going to be bad..... /quote]
Hi mac!:hello:
I'm really sorry for your loss hun.:o
If it's any consolation to you angel, it's the 21st already and May will soon be gone.;)
You raised an interesting point though mac. Do we fulfil our own prophecies sometimes?
When does it go from a bad day, to a bad week, to a bad month, to a bad year? I think as with everything else, there are times for everything, good and bad and you never hear of anyone having a straight bad 12 years with no happiness for example, do we?
Try not to look at the month as a whole hun. Just a day at a time. And even within that day, there usually are moments where you are not at your worst. I hope May will leave you, and all of us, kindly angel.
Much Love,

I missed a pill on Saturday, felt so much better Sunday so decided not to take another and feel good again today. My energy is coming back. On the meds all I wanted to do was sleep and had no energy at all. I am considering stopping them altogether now. What do you guys think? I've been on them for 5 weeks and have improved a great deal. Am I being silly to come off them? Should I carry on bearing in mind they take my energy, make me yawn ALL the time an make me sweat at night too.
Hi again karrie!:hello:
Hun, the Tiffster nearly fell off her chair when I read your post!
Angel - NEVER ever change or alter your meds without your drs permission or supervision! Some meds can leave you feeling very ill after a few days of not taking them hun. If the tiredness is just too much (although your side effects should be levelling out soon I'd hope), please discuss it with your gp.
Try and remember how you felt before the meds angel and at the beginning of taking them - do you really want to have to feel like that again or have to start all over again?
You've got some stress coming up and if I were you I'd keep taking them.;) Why rock the boat karrie? A lot of us have learned that stopping meds because you think you're better, is not the best thing to do. Wait until after your appeal and then see your gp hun and talk it over with him/her.
Glad to hear you so bright hun - hang in there.
Much Love,
