    Hi
The other week I bought a concert ticket on ebay for waaaaaaay over the odds - Billy Connolly was doing a small event (about 150 ppl) and tickets were sold for £15 each.

Begrudgiungly I paid £90 on ebay for one ticket .......

Can you please post the item # ?

Don't like to advise without seeing the auction.

Why are you all so hung up on feedback. If you go to a shop and buy something - even if its a bargain you don't ask/or are asked to fill in a feedback form. If you don't want to give feedback don't give it.

I can't believe you paid £90 quid for a £15 ticket though

why do people whinge about every single thing. You are not leaving positive feedback because you paid way over the odds for the tickets? Why did you bid and then buy them then.

You are also annoyed that he has emailed asking you to leave feedback? Why shouldnt he? If you bought them, he sent them and there was no problems then common courtesy on Ebay is too leave feedback. Thats the way Ebay works.

If you are really that bothered then dont leave the guy feedback at all, if you do leave him negative then no doubt he will contact Ebay anyway and get it mutually removed as you really have no reason to leave a negative.

That can't be true because eBay Selling Manager has a "Feedback reminder" e-mail template, which is basically an email asking the buyer to leave feedback if they are satisfied.

As for the OP - like everyone else has said, just because you paid way over the odds for the ticket, why should you not leave +ive feedback if the transaction was smooth and successful? I just don't get it - it was your choice to bid afterall!

    Hi

Begrudgiungly I paid £90 on ebay for one ticket (not good moneysaving, I know, but hey.... what a good night) but I'm angry that the only way to get a ticket was to pay £75 over the odds for one. I wasn't sure what feedback to leave (+/-) so I didn't..... i just got this email from him today, and now I'm even more angry at paying over the odds....

    Dear (ME),

can you leave good feedback cheers

Please respond to the question on eBay by clicking the button below.

    Thank you,
    (HIM)

there's no way I'm leaving him +ve, but what should I do - negative, neutral or none at all!!??

HOPE YOU DONT BUY ANYTHNG FROM ME, YOU SEEM TO BE A VERY RUDE AND POOR CUSTOMER

END OF THE DAY, YOU PAID THE PLACED THE BID NOT HIM OR ANYONE ELSE
THE SELLER WAS ONLY OFFERING THE TICKETS TO YOU , UNSURE IF 90 WAS THE STARTING BID, BUT YOU DID COMMIT TO BUY

THEREFROE LEAVE HIEM POSTIVE IF YOU PAID EFFICIENTLY THE TRANSACTION WAS SMOOTH AND YOU RECVIED TICKETS IN TIME

IF YOU WROTE THSI BACK TO THE CUSTMER I WOULNT HESISTATE TO LEAVE YOU BAD FEEDBACK, COS YOU DESERVE IT

I would definately leave positive feedback. If he had not sold the tickets on EBAY you would have never got to see Billy Connolyy so he has done you a favour. You were lucky and got a genuine seller who provided you with the genuine goods on time. That is definately a positive!
It is never the sellers fault how much you pay for an auction item - but at the end of the day if the whole sale goes through hitch free then a positive is earned.
So go on ,think of what a good night you had and leave a postive .If you are not happy with the price you paid then tick yourself off ! And read the horror storys of the people who never got their tickets and got ripped off.

not sure this is right, esp. as selling manager does have the email option of feedback reminder.

i often use it. newbies seem to forget quite often, but established buyers sellers seem always to leave it

I have read the posts above, cheers for your views-

I suppose I was pretty damn stupid paying sooooo much for the ticket and I know it's my fault.

The seller has provided the service that we mutually agreed, and I ahve to deal with it...... I'm just annoyed from previous transactions where I've been left negs when I have provided the correct service.....

I consider myself firmly slapped on the wrist for my bad bad thoughts!
(sorry, that wasn't supposed to sound so sarky)
