OH & I are saving by ourselves, but living with my mum and dad, so they're helping by letting us live with them for very cheap rent. My Dad keeps saying if we find somewhere perfect but need an extra couple of grand to make it happen then they might be able to find it for us, but I'd love to do it on my own - they have enough money worries without forking out for us too.
Our local council is about to start a Local Authority Mortgage Scheme so we might well get away with a 5% mortgage if we successfully apply for that which will mean we'll be good to go in a couple of months. Fingers crossed they roll the scheme out quickly and accept us!If you worry, you die..and if you don't worry, you die... so why worry?!0
