    Morning everyone
Thank you Time to face the music for starting the thread.

I am still in an unhappy mood from last night. = cooked a meal for Oh and I. Table for 2 as no one else here. Well he belted his food down as fast as he could just to rush and sit in his arm chair and watch TV. There was not even any thing special on TV.
Left me with my meal on my own :(
I did comment "I shall eat my meal on my own then , shall I".
Took the dog for a walk, I was so cross.
Will try and get the TV off today before dinner.

Today's todo list = try and put new silicone on the sink in the bathroom and behind kitchen sink.
Owning a home, the improvements are always ongoing.

Dream list = new drive and redesigned back garden.

Craft = I finished my crochet/knit cushion cover yesterday so have to come up with something new to do.

Dinner today lamb chops (whoopsie) I thought I would cook them in the oven with onions and gravy. Roast potato's and steamed fresh veg.

Have a happy day every one. try and think positive. I try and some times find it hard. It is another brand new day! It is up to us how we use those hours.
The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)

Good advice, I once greeted the ex by wearing black stockings & little else, he was most put out as 'It's Top Gear tonight'

Moorhen you are in my thoughts, losts of positive vibes are winging their way to you xxxx

Hester...I did the same sort of thing with DH and he just started laughing, I was most put out needless to say he was on rations for months ;)

Sun has come out so I have just put some washing on the line.

DH and DS are at the dentist today, thank goodness we have tax credits exemption otherwise we would not be able to afford it.

DD's new job is still mucking her about and she is now in two minds whether to take it or not.

Dinner tonight is cottage pie with swede topping instead of potato with cauliflower cheese.

    BFN x

  • Hello everybody and hugs to all in need and especially Moorhen.

Sunny here and not as cold as it has been. Bobby continues to be chirpy.... Last night we cut the hedge but it was rather cold so I said I would rake up the privet today.... why did I say that???? Anyway, I have now run out of work (the person who never gives me work is on the rota.....) so I will be off to do that. Dinner tonight is either full english or chill.... the one it isn't will be dinner on Friday and then we have a veggie curry for Saturday....
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D

Hester - I really needed that laugh, you really are a star!

Car is "fixed" by us before cheapo breakdown service substitute for overpriced AA arrived. It's a problem with the Nissan antitheft immbolizer thingy-me-bob. I read online that disconnecting battery for a few minutes resets it and sure enough it worked :T

    Hi all

Lots of posi-vibes for Little Dog; even though she doesn't care for the visits to the vet, it's as well to get the insulin right as quickly as possible. Tell her Aunty Wolfy's rooting for her, Redruby.:o

Glad to hear little Bobby's continuing to chirp happily.:T

Moorhen I'm too late getting online to wish you luck, but I hope it all went well today, and it turns out there's nowt to worry about.:o
    Morning all
Sister Cas, what film does your car want to see?, Sorry couldn't resist that.
Moorhen, I have everything crossed for you.
    Hugs to Molly.
I had a candle lit last night on my 'altar', hubby looked at it & said 'I didn't realise you were a fan of Maggie'. The candle was for my Mum, it would have been her birthday on the 8th, but after my hospital visit I forgot, so lit one yesterday instead.
We've had a nightmare start to the day, hubby was phoned about 6am, burglar alarm going off at work, he's not on call out, but I know that the person who is, went on the pi$$ last night so probably slept through. We had to race up to work, some muppet left a window open & a bloody pigeon flew in & set the alarm off. We got home about 7:30, I cooked him breakfast & took him back for an 8:30 start.
Fish have been fed, DW's finished, WM about to go on & I'm making steak & kidney pie for tea.
    Have a good day everyone.
    Hugs Hester
I'm confused- was the breakfast for the muppet or the pigeon? And what do pigeons like for breakfast?:D:D:D:D:D *ducks in case Hester throws a candle holder*

I always light a candle for any animals crossing the Rainbow Bridge; I don't have any humans that close, other than Mr LW, and he's under strict instructions that he's not allowed to go before me.

Ooh, I'd be mortified if that happened to me, so I just let Mr LW decide, and joints permitting, just go along with what he wants.:( Not ideal, but then, as my XH once said "who wants to s**g a cripple, anyway?":( Nice bloke, my XH. (NOT!!)

Mary-Fairy-Fuzzy-Butt is sleeping off her lunch, so I'm going to try and get my Brain Training done while I have a bit of peace.:o

PMSL, at LW's comments, if I could have caught the bloody pigeon I'd have made pie for breakfast, & what an !!!!! your ex sounds.
Almost sunny here, my get up & go seems to have returned, thankfully. I've 3 loads of washing on the line & one in the machine. Steak & kidney simmering on the hob, also a pan of chicken soup and I've made another batch of ready meals for hubby's packups.
It must be Spring, the council are mowing the verges & the neighbours are having a bonfire! Fortunately the wind is blowing it away from my garden, but it looks like their fence may go up in flames soon.

    Afternoon everyone,

Well I am back from the hospital and one extra mammogram and an ultrasound later I have been told that all is well and I will be recalled as normal in 3 years! I am soooooo relieved.

I met a friend there and unfortunately her news was not so good, they have taken a biopsy from her and she has to wait till friday for the results.

Thank you all of you for your concern, hugs and positive vibes, it all meant a lot to me.

I am off out now to teach a friend how to make chocolate brownies.

Chocolate brownies sounds an ideal way to celebrate. :j:j:j
