Thank you for the birthday wishes :) I had a lovely relaxing day which I didn't have to pay for in the end!

Saved an extra bit more money by not going out for a meal in the evening as DS played up and only went to sleep at 9pm!

Well I got a bit of surprise today when I opened up a re-directed mail to find out that I'd missed an early scan appointment on Tuesday. Phoned the hospital straight away and now have a scan on Monday. DH was slightly annoyed that I hadn't told him earlier.

Fingers are now crossed for a good scan result.

Hi everyone :) Just popping on to say that my early scan yesterday went well - there's a little jellybean with a heartbeat :D

I was so relieved I cried all the way to the car. No picture to show you i'm afraid as you don't get the option with an early scan here.

Treated ourselves to a big cooked breakfast and i lazed the rest of the day. :)

We now have a scan date - 30th August! Am very excited :) three weeks will just fly by.

DH was showing me some bluetooth speakers last night - very pretty to look at but at £300 I told him not to be ridiculous. Apparently they are so that DS can have music to dance to anywhere in the house *rolls eyes*

My courgettes have done terrible this year and somethings ate all my carrots :( thankfully the tiny toms seem ok so far and the apple tree has 'flopped' with the weigh of the fruit. I might go picking blackberries next week as they are just starting to ripen down the alley where I walk to work.

I've been really good at saving all the lose change into the whisky jar and then I go and decimate it by needing change for the bus. never mind.

I'd better go back to work I suppose.......honestly it would be so much easier without idiot clients, one walked in today saying I've signed the Deed but they hadn't bothered to read the letter that went with said Deed and got stroppy because they hadn't done it correctly. I swear the idiots are outnumbering the nice ones now.
