    Thanks IWAB :)

The £200 has now been paid after a bit of confusion at the bank as I got a newish member of staff.

The weekend flew by with me wasting a few hours on the sunny Saturday in bed as I just can't cope with only 5 hours of sleep. I swear DS knows when I've been out so that he gets up extra early. Cars and windows got washed, Nan visited, flowers delivered and the lawn edges trimmed.

My steak and kidney tasted divine although the pudding didn't hold its shape. Sent DH to Lidli for ice-cream and some beers so of course he came back with £25 worth of stuff! And I'd just ordered an almost £200 grocery shop of non-perishables too :/

Hope everyone got a bit of sunshine this weekend :)

It's a beautiful day here :D Shame I'm at work but I got out at lunchtime and it should be a lovely walk home.

SSA.1 and SSA.2 are going well as indeed SSA.3 is. but surely there are more small savings aims to be made....I just can't think of any atm! The sun is out and all I want to do is play in the garden :)

The huge shop arrived last night and DH was a bit shocked at the amount and surprised that I made it all fit! :D The drink is hiding in DS’s room so we don’t touch it until his birthday.

I’m attempting a rubber chicken this week by making
    1. Chicken, rice n peas
    2. Curry
    3. Chicken pie
    4. Soup (stock already done in slow cooker)
    5. Sandwiches
    6. Fajitas

I’ve just thought of another SSA after seeing how little is in my change pot - Small Saving Aim 4 (Small Change)
I used to have a can where any £2 coin I found went in so I’m going to start that up again. Last time there was over £300 when the can was full! And I’m going to start going through mine and DH’s wallet to remove any change under 50p - he won’t like it so I’ll try to be sneaky. :p

This weekend looks to be an expensive one as we are on the search for a new fridge (our current one thinks it’s a freezer and I’m not keen on frozen cucumbers) and we both need new trainers. DH wants to start running again and his current trainers don’t support his feet. My trainers have holes :o

:doh::wall::mad: I'm am so annoyed and stressed that I almost burst into tears at work today.

We got the title deeds back from the Land Registry today, my new house with its lovely long garden - a third of the garden has been lopped off as the seller's didn't own it!!!!!:eek::eek:

I just can't believe that it's happened to us. We now have to try and get possessory title and in 12 years, providing there's no objections, we can try and get absolute title.

DH is talking of suing the sellers but as long as they sign the bl==dy stat dec I think they'll be safe (I will at their door - when I find it with an axe if they don't sign). I don't even think they knew that they didn't own the whole garden!

    grrrrrrrrrrrr

Thanks Laura,I'm trying not to stress but its like a weight at the back of mind. I've calmed down a bit and have ordered an in-depth search from the Land Reg to find out if anyone has ever expressed an interest in the back of my garden. I hope it comes back ok.

I can't sue my solicitor TG otherwise I doubt I'd get paid this month! I didn't get charged any solicitor fees either as I work here.

To be fair I think both the seller's solicitor and my solicitor just assumed that it was a standard unregistered property - there was nothing to point towards anything being 'off' with the back garden so neither solicitor did a search based on a plan, just the address which came back clear.

I just have to wait now and hope that the search comes back clear and that the seller's will sign a Stat Dec.

Anywhoo on to nicer things.....DH and I have new trainers :) (£185 :o) I also have a washing line (over £100 _pale_ but that's another story) and I got some planting done which included a few spuds :)

I had a chilly but bright walk to work today, there's a scrummy bagel for lunch and I have £1.50 to last until Wednesday. :p

Property Update - The search came back (really quick - I'm impressed) and I felt sick waiting for it to open, but we are ok. phew

It's all clear and we will use the garden as our own - I'm going to build a huge damn shed on it - and we will apply for Possesory Title on it. It may take 12 years but I'm getting that land! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr :D

It also means that neither solicitor can be blamed for not doing their jobs properly and I don't have to spit in my boss' tea. ;)

Ah thats good news and a relief!
We have a brick built building on our 'road' and proof that there has been something there (a wooden / brick garage previously) for 16 years. I'm not sure that means anything in the eyes on the law but hopefully it will help with our case

Prob best now to leave the bosses tea alone he he!!
