    Hi,
Well just trying to get my accounts straight but excited to see if it makes a difference to our outstanding mortgage when i get into it.
Had a bonus yesterday as I received £22 in co-op vouchers which i had forgotten about (collected from childcare that finished in August) and only have one voucher to collect at morrisons for £40 so looks like we will have plenty to eat over xmas.
I went out for a meal with friends last night and one of them had a 30% off voucher and we signed up for the loyalty card as we always eat there (Table table restaurants) and so it cost us £10 each...not bad for a night out.
Trying to resist the urge to go shopping....my sis in law is in full buying mode as she is also moving house next week and keeps asking me to go with her and so far I have avoided it.
I have also used my 123 credit card for the 1st time to pay for fuel which gives ash back so will let you know when i see the cashback and whether its worth it.

    Hi,
Well in an attempt to get myself straight I have tidied through my cards and so on and combined my nectar points....have now got about £30 in points. Used my vouchers with co-op to get turkey and other extras we like such as christmas pudding and baileys thick cream! yum.
I have overspent a bit though...2 extra xmas pressies for the kids totalling £24 so not too bad. However, I forgot that there swimming bill was due...£95!!!! Also, treated myself to a cut and blow dry at my favourite hairdressers £30....though i have not had a trim since June so feel it was very needed! £0 insertion fees on ebay today so may try a bit of selling later to make up for it...I did manage to sell some old toys during the week and got £8 for them so not all spending spree! Have definitely got to be strict on the Santander card though as having it can make you feel like you have some money.
OH is cooking a big pot of Saturday (Caribbean) soup right now so will have lunch for tomorrow out of that too and then we eat at the in laws tomorrow evening.
Will shop this week at Morrisons for the last voucher towards my £40 off voucher and do a big shop the week after with it. However I might switch back to tesco delivery after that...feel i am better with the budget that way.

    Have a good evening all.

Well i bit the bullet today and made my first overpayment!:j
Very excited....i used some savings that were in an ISA earning 1.75% but it made more sense to pay it off as the mortgage costs more but it means i will need to drip feed the savings to replace it. I look forward to getting the confirmation letter reducing the term for the first time though as this was a 30 year mortgage  therefore i attempt to put a little dent in that!
I also listed loads of clothes and so on for sale over the weekend so hope to achieve a little bit of money from this and having looked through some of the other forums, the 52 week challenge looks good as a little saving goal.
Food shopping day today spent £65!!! But other than that, my OP and £1 contribution at the Nursery my son goes to I intend not to spend anything else today!

    Evening all :)

Just finished putting up the Xmas tree, bought a new one a while back that was posted on the grabbit board, however took DD1 to home base to get new decorations and lights and spent a small fortune but it looks lovely.

    Today's efforts
    - another £5 Morries voucher in the post
    - 57 adpoints
    - 2 m&s vouchers from bespoke
    - ordered 3 for £20 from am@zon DVDS for Xmas and used discount code so got them for ££15
    -ugov survey50p
-bag of limes for 6p, will chop up and put in freezer for my corona

I've got bills account back to normal but have put some more spends on the visa for Xmas but will pay it on Friday and need to pay some money over to Amex card. Any extra will put towards OP.

Good news hot some tickets I had listed sold today for a gig in london slightly less than I paid for them but just glad to get most of the money back as they were expensive, but I managed to get them for another night which ties in with holidays from work, I'm just relieved as you panic you will be left with them. I lowered the price yesterday hoping to get them sold, they were the cheapest on the site so someone got a bargain.

Anyway feeling shattered and going to get off to the land of nod.

    Evening all :)

Got away from work early today so went to pick up parcels from various stores. Almost there with the Xmas shop.

Got a voucher for a free card in my mand s parcel so picked up a lovely card for my nieces birthday in January.

I've collected some more adpoints, few surveys in my inbox but not got round to them yet.

Dinner just about ready mackerel with new potatoes and beet root with a horseradish dressing tonight.

Need to dye my hair hopefully get it done later tonight and might try to get some wrapping done.
