morning all

I was out with OH last night at a race night was ok it was byob so at least we weren't paying expensive bar prices.came home £4 up so put that in my jar.

I have completed a VO and YG survey this morning have been letting this slip recently and been just deleting the emails but need to get back with it.

My online shop came yesterday but my swede was missing from the order although they charged me for it. I have emailed them but i'm disappointed as I wanted to have it with my lamb tonight.

Checked the banking- paid some money over to the visa but still have about £200 to find still a few weeks until I need to pay it and need to find £430 to put into bills account. I have money in another account but don't want to touch that so I will really need to be very economical over the next month and try to move as much as possible from the housekeepig to cover it.

I need to go and pick up DD she stayed at her grans last night and my dad will be popping in anytime for his usual Sunday morning cuppa.

Ok so i have made the appointment to change to a 123 account! They have also told me that if you get the credit card you get cashback on petrol and food shopping....that's if you can be organised! Does anyone on here recommend the switcher service they provide at all?
So far no overpayments made but hope to start working towards it very soon, maybe being a little too keen before christmas!

Hi Teabody - I had no problems with their switching service all went very smoothly. I don't have the credit card but if you are going to get it there are quite often offers on £co or TCB for cash back if you get one it's maybe woth checking out.

Last few days efforts:
- referred OH to TCB £15 referral fee has tracked already
- applied for Amex on TCB with oh's referral £60 tracked

- £10 am@zon voucher for £5

Made lunches and dinner from stores, dinner was prawn, garlic,chilli and tomato pasta with garlic bread delish
Bangers, mash and veg for DS.

Went to visit my mum tonight came home with new shoes she bought them and they are too big for her fit me perfect. Result!! :T

Afternoon

Just in from work and have made a start on dinner. Made lunches for work today and went to shops during my lunch break and picked up bread and milk.

I needed shampoo for DS has to be the anti dandruff brand, had a 25 percent off coupon for boots if u spent over a fiver. So they also had DD's brand half price so got 4 bottles of shampoo for £5.46 but I paid with point so free :T

Did a VO survey account sitting at £5 just now will keep plugging away although I get screened out more often than not.

Contacted £co as a referral I made tracked at £2.50 instead of the £20 it was supposed to be. They've been back in touch said it was a mistake and will be updated in the next few days.

Banked the change yesterday £213 so that will go towards the shortfall in the bills account. Still a way to go but getting there, another £217 then need to tackle the visa.

It will be difficult as it's DD1's birthday tomorrow, have a 40th on Saturday and OH 's birthday Tuesday.

Need to do a meal plan for next week use up what is in and try to stick to £40 delivery from mr t so I can use my £5 moc I think it will have to be an inventive week.

Hi,
I have today opened my 123 account! Yayy! I did do the credit card so we will see how i go. Might put savings in 123 account as you get 3%! This might be good to go to overpayments. I have arranged to move the direct debits and so on myself so that I can alter dates etc myself.

Totally stuffed and feel shattered DD going out to pub so will probably have an early night.

Evening all

Received the new Amex card today so have updated my card details with it on my Mr t grocery page and will use it to pay for the shopping. If I spend £2000 by march I will get a bonus 20000 points which is potentially £100 in gift vouchers so looks like everything will be getting pout on that card.

Went to @ldi. Earlier and used mocs from yesterdays paper spent £35.90 but got the prawns in for xmas and also other bits to make up meals for this week. I have a mr T delivery coming on Sunday, about £36 also but that's for the branded products I buy that I can't get in @ldi.

DD2 away out with her friends for dinner for one of their birthdays I usually just give them £10 in a card but went into Xmas stash and got out a lovely wee top from topshp lip balm from BS and sweets, grand total £4.10. :T

£11.36 £co payment gone in so will move that to bills account to make up shortfall I've just realised VM will be coming out on Tues or Wed so need to find another £70 thought I was almost there. I have another jar with coppers and 5ps in it, won't be much but think I will have to take that to the bank this morn to try and boost the bills account.

think I am just going to pop down to shops need to get a few bits for OH's birthday no idea what to get him!!

Going to a party tonight but will try to keep spends to a minimum it's not too far away so I think I will walk down and maybe just get a taxi home.

Update on today

Postie just been. Got letter from s@ntander mortgage term reduced to 7 years 8 months so I am happy with that :T

Also got 3 ck lip glosses from the sun £1 offer, will put them in with DD's friends Xmas.

Took change to bank £16.76 so have moved that to bills account still about £25 short but I am due a £co payment for about that amount so hopefully that will be payable within the next few days. Then I will need to move on to the visa.

Evening

Today had been a NSD up to about half an hour ago. It's OH's birthday tomorrow and he doesn't want to go out so just ordered 2 of the finest meal deals from Mr T to get delivered tomorrow will be cheaper than a meal out. Got the free Special K porridge.

Dinner tonight was a tagine and cous cous and I made a pot of butternut squash soup.

Didn't put the heating on tonight, the first for a while so pleased with that.

Got a club card through today I got in OHs name so I can use his TCB account with it to turn it into CC vouchers.
