So in effect any purchase prior to mid November 2011 is not going to be within time for a chargeback.
Even if you have proof of declined flights.
Now if the purchase was over £100 and on a credit card CCA applies and you are Ok upto 6 years.
I am not aware of any time limit re charge back on credit cards. Can you supply information as Consumer Credit Act 1974 section 75 specifically does not mention any time scales as far as I can see0 -

A chargeback is completely separate from section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.
Chargebacks can be performed on credit and debit cards. They are an agreement between the banks and the card networks (Visa and Mastercard being the big ones) and their scope is defined by the relevant chargeback rules.
Generally a consumer has 120 days from the date the goods or services were due to be provided, to request a chargeback. However this isn't a hard and fast rule.
Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act applies only to credit card and some point of sale loan transactions, and is a statutory right. However, it does have a number of specific conditions which have to be satisfied if you want to claim.0 -

Section 5 of the Limitation Act says...5 Time limit for actions founded on simple contract.
An action founded on simple contract shall not be brought after the expiration of six years from the date on which the cause of action accrued.0 -

The chargeback timescale has nothing to do with CCA.
It is a visa/mastercard timescale.
Hence why I added this....Now if the purchase was over £100 and on a credit card CCA applies and you are Ok upto 6 years.
Any purchase under £100 does not fall under CCA, so chargeback is the only option.Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0
