Are you sure there was a £10K limit on each card? My bank does something similar - two cards, but one account, one credit limit?

The bank will have followed its procedures anyway - you'll get nowhere claiming it didn't

What's 'proto-call' BTW - never heard of the word and I bet the bank hasn't either?

So you asked for credit, got given 20K of credit, maxed it out and are now saying its the banks fault for lending you so much?

Sorry, you decided you wanted to spend it all, now you have to pay it back with interest. Maybe you'll think twice before spending money you don't have from now on.

I had that from NatWest at one point too. Certainly didn't make me think "I need to go out and spend every penny of the limit"

    hi

just would like a little info if anyone can help.

i was issued with two credit cards when i should only have ever been issued with one by my bank.

This in turn has got me in alot more debt than i would have ever been should i have been issued with just the one
    much appreciated.

So why did you not address the issue and return one card when it was recieved?
If you felt that one had been issued in error.

Many people have more than one credit card from the same provider.
So just where is your problem?

I think this meant 'protocol' (i.e. bank procedures / policies etc.)
