I think this meant 'protocol' (i.e. bank procedures / policies etc.)

I know - I was trying to berate OP without being overtly rude. Obviously I was too subtle
  • Hi guys and thanks for the ever so whitty remarks. First of all your right that i asked for credit and got it your right that i did use it... your even right that i mis spelt protocol but for those of you think banks are always right...ur wrong wake up n smell the ppi the inrerest rate the banks setting all its customers up for a big big fall you guys need to see the government n banks r trying their best to bankrupt you from my point of view. The interest rate i started at was if can remember was about 12% and shot up to around 30%. I AM NOT A BANK So i do not knw its guide lines to lending credit cards let alone 2 credit cards as i only was made aware of this when i recently went into my bank to discuss my credit cards and they asked me how i managed to get 2 credit cards and both with individual not shared balances. For all of those of you whom r trying to get back ppi dont judge me becos if it wasnt for ppl like me asking questions you would not be claiming your money back. Banks r run by humans n mistakes happen all the time so if anyone knows whom i need to ask further about my issue i would like to say thank you and for those board geeks without lives trying to big up themelves with your oh soooo clever comments to which i simply scrape off my shoe like dog poop...get a life.
    Regards
    Jin

The bank sent you two cards but only you decided how to use them.
If someone sold you a box of matches and you set fire to a house -would the shop keeper be to blame for your poor judgement or would you be ?

That's the principle any claim would be based on -and why the answer is no.

Yeah but if he was given TWO boxes of matches when he only asked for one box, then what!!:rotfl::rotfl:

Looks like we've got another member of the "who can I blame for my mistakes" brigade here.

Clearly comparing mis-sold PPI to an inability to control yourself is 100% proof the banks are always at fault.

So your saying you were mis-sold a credit card. So sue the bank and tell them that you don't owe any of the money that YOU decided to spend.

"Oh the bank offered me 20K credit limit, must spend and then say they are not responsible lenders and refuse to pay it back"

Never claimed for mis sold PPI as I've never paid for it.

Unlike some people, I like to know exactly what I'm paying for/applying for and why.
