    KNOWN PITFALLS this week:

    1) Alcohol - I will struggle to have NSD's because I do like a tipple in the evening. However I will spend £5 on a bottle of wine rather than £30-£40 in the pub buying drinks for other people as well as myself!

    2) Thursday - My regular 2 weekly meetings in Nottingham, very easy to jump into a cab to the office from the station rather than do the walk. I will do the walk. Thursday will be an NSD. Massive challenge for me, but I can do it.

    3) Breakfast every day - the staff restaurant does beautifully cooked everything and it's cheap, but that's not the name of the game for me. I've got cereal, bread, crumpets, croissant, everything I could possibly need. I will NOT buy breakfast any day this week.

    4) Expensive coffees. No vanilla spiced lattees for me, I can make coffee for free either at home or in my office, I will not use our inhouse starbucks!

(Bit of personal resolve here, apologies, just spelling it out so that I can stick to it)
Debt free, moved, got new stuff for the new flat - got everything I wanted and need - now just saving.

A NSD for me today and i've said no to my weekly Nandos before the cinema tomorrow (I have a Cineworld Unlimited card so I go to the cinema at least once or twice a week, but it only costs me the £14.99 direct debit - that is if I avoid the slush I like to get!!).

Starting as I mean to go on!
    May Grocery Challenge - £34.58/£75

NSD for me today too. Heading to bed within next 30 minutes, meetings in the morning, need to get up early and eat breakfast at home!

Hi! Last week was a write off and I'm determined to be extra good this week. My bro's girlfriend had her baby last week and I may of gone a little ott on presents etc lol. I also had a dentist appointment and had to pay £50 for a small filling! I thought it was only going to be £18! Grrrr!

    Total for last week was
    £69/£30

Ok. My plan for this week is to spend NOTHING Sunday to Friday! I know this is really unrealistic, but I've gone mad last week and I have nothing I really need this week.

So my limit for the week is £5 - to be spent on Saturday for film snacks with bf

    So plan for this week:
    • Take lunch in everyday
    • Take extra snacks/food/drinks on the days I have college
    • Try to stay in at lunches to stay away from shops

    So far:
    Sun -NSD :)
  • Sun - NSD :j:j:j finally

Hope everyone has a good week.

I always think it helps to have my plan written on here, because then I am not only kidding me but lying to you guys if I don't stick to it, or don't declare everything which I don't want to do.

That said I might swap Monday and Tuesdays plans, as I need to do some stuff after work tomorrow which means I won't have time to do the top up shop. I'll see how tomorrow goes.

They all seem do-able Trajal - hope you don't feel too deprived. I know what you mean about sharing on here - helps to keep us on the straight and narrow :A
