Still no response.
Do you have to wait the full 8 weeks? That's 2 emails gone unanswered and I'm no further forward with them.Currently in a Protected Trust Deed - 23 payments until DEBT FREE - February 20270 -

I think you can still get any previous price refunded (even if your contract has ended) - see the forum:

I was thinking of a small claims court visit for a contract I paid up early after the price increase by Orange was announced. I did try and cancel it after they announced it but as everyone else found out they wouldn't agree to it.
Could I claim with the small claims court, the directive is clear that I should have been given the option to cancel with no fee?0 -

I think if you email TM one last time saying if they don't respond within 7 days then you will take that as their agreement to go to CISAS then you may be able to start a CISAS case once the 7th day is up.
If you start a CISAS case as above and CISAS reject it because it has not been 8 weeks, the that is not a problem. you resubmit the case once the 8 weeks is up - it costs you nothing.0 -

I think it would depend on why you asked for the cancellation.
If you asked on the grounds of Material Detriment, and they refused you, then I think you may have a case. Can you post some details?0 -

Looks to me like they have moved her price rise from 3.3% to 3.2%. Did she take the contract out after 30th October 2012? Did she receive the text saying they have "recalculated" the increase?
Suggest she contacts Customer Services and asks them - if they have adjusted then she has until tomorrow (13th) to send the email to get the contract cancelled.0 -

Just spoke with her and checked her texts and she has indeed had a message like this. Email them immediately?Currently in a Protected Trust Deed - 23 payments until DEBT FREE - February 20270 -

Sure would, best to get the email lodged now, than to find out later that she could have escaped the contract, but missed the opportunity.
I'm still fighting with Ofcom over this as you will know from my earlier posts. No response from them since my last email. I am seeing my MP tomorrow!0 -
Email has been sent. I've also gave them 7 days to respond to my initial complaint as well as reaching out to the Facebook team.
Good luck with your meeting tomorrow and keep us all posted.Currently in a Protected Trust Deed - 23 payments until DEBT FREE - February 20270 -
