Ignorant, inconsiderate and arrogant!
So, there I was, having gone down to the local supermarket for a couple of tinnys.
I was waiting for a till, when a 25/30ish girl pushed past me to get behind me to pay - charming, but I let it go.
Then an older lady came into the shop wanting to know who owned a silver Toyota, and the "tarted up" girl behind me said it was hers.
The other lady says - "well can you move it, because you have blocked the entrance to the car park and I can't get out"
Young girl - "Well you will have to wait, because there wasn't any space to park"
I am now thinking !!!!!! is wrong with this girl behind me?
Older lady - "Well that isn't very considerate, blocking people in is it?"
Young t**t - "well you can Fu****g well wait"
This was in a crowded shop with a dozen people in!
The older lady went out and I just glared at the offender.
"What the f**k are you looking at you wan**r?"
Nobody said a word, but I just couldn't hold back, so I said:
"The next time you come into a shop and elbow me out of the way, is the time that you will be in hospital, because you are an inconsiderate b***h, so get out there and move your car so that the other lady can move"
She didn't say anything else, but uinfortunately the shop staff, who have seen me before looked at me as though I was the devil.
Why don't more people stand up to these people, and why is our country becoming so unpleasant?

If someone had come in and said "Don't worry, the chap with the lorry has just moved it"" she would have been out like a shot.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Good for you for standing up to her - I'm sick of the way the chavvy scruffballs think they can get away with being complete t0sspots.0

That's the sort of customers that the staff at the supermarkets have to put up with day in day out.0

Pretty much that, and the management almost always side with the customer when a complaint is made about the staff's management, so better to just put up with them or lose your job.
If this incident were to escalate further, all management would see is than an altercation occurred while (whoever) was manning the tills.
That said, I'm not sure threatening violence against someone was a particularly wise move.0 -
I have a wheelbrace in the boot that helps move cars that block me in.
Pop the window, Release the handbrake and roll it away.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
In hindsight I was perhaps a little OTT - perhaps if she hadn't barged past me in the first place I may have acted differently.
I still cannot believe that someone would park in the access road to a car park, knowing that there were cars parked in there (they were quite visible), blocking anyone from entering or worse still in this case leaving.0 -

Totally agree with what you did.
Perhaps the hospital part was a tad OTT but I can imagine how you felt. I can not bear it when i am out and about esp with the kids and we run into that type of person.
I do not know if it is their upbringing or just sheer bad manners that gives some members of the community the right to think that they have the right to behave like this.
You where lucky however as the last time I said something to a bunch of " young adults " who where using language that would make anyone blush in-front of children, some a lot young than mine I got a torrent of abuse.Happiness, Health and Wealth in that order please!:A0 -
say nothing, pop intended shopping n counter [you're going to buy it elsewhere anyway, as you don't take rubbish customer-care, do you?]........go outside, find old lady, tell her you'll move the car for her?
MAybe whilst doing so, pop a nice crack in the windscreen, right in front of the driver's seat?
Or..crack a well-shaken tinny over the young female..... before you've paid for it, of course?
Maye a well-placed foot, and an innocent expression as she walks away?
Lots of ways of dumping on such arrogance..if you've a mind? No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......0
