Claim/ case/ judgement
Still waiting.
We are not daft.
Why should this person put a case number up ? The advice wouldn't change one iota to what has been given already even if they were a ppc troll. I prefer to give the benefit of doubt in these situations. When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

What? That's two different firms?
And a default judgment will just show that the claim has been won by default without a hearing, surely.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It wont let me play it, what is it, i am in no doubt what i have done but i am not going to let £175 ruin me for 6 years. when i decided to ignore it i knew it would take nerve to ignore the threatening letters. It was through me not knowing in detail what to do and my own fault for ignoring the first court letter and not researching more on the subject.
Some others on here may not agree with my previous post. However, you have been a victim of these scammers and have been honest enough to admit that you didn't twig when it went from being a scammagram to a real court form. I expect that there are many, many people like you who may have been given reassurance by the "IGNORE" posts on here.
Not trying to pick an argument with anyone who is trying to help mSE members. Some posts are very informative and have the caveats in them about court papers, but far too many are simplistic and don't have all the relevant information. The letter chain sticky threads are most helpful, but I do urge posters who are advising IGNORE - and that is often the right decision - to qualify that with what to look out for.
coupon-mad has a standard post that she makes and tweaks for newbies who come on here. Now I have never had Northampton court papers, but it would be most helpful if one of the regulars who does have such papers would create a standard post that they could post as required (a la c-m standard post) that had a .jpg or similar to go along with the IGNORE that reads IGNORE UNTIL YOU GET ONE OF THESE.
Again, sympathies for your £175 fine.0
