Hmmm. I often see police officers in uniform in places like Tesco, and I wonder "am I paying you to be doing your shopping?" Maybe it was their meal break, but we will never know because no one will ever ask.
If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.

Or are they attending to deal with a shoplifter?
To deal with an assault on a member of staff?
To collect CCTV evidence of other offences?
To pick up a stolen credit card retained at the tills?
To obtain a statement from a member of staff about a previous incident?
Or have they returned to pick up the handbag of the poor, confused old lady with dementia who they have just taken home to her worried family?
Why might you wonder if they were shopping?
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com
