Even if you dont believe me tell me what to do please in terms of chargebacks (co-op bank)
There is nothing more we can tell you - we have told you what is likely to happen (either the bank will tell you you can't get a chargeback or PayPal will reject the chargeback). The only people who can answer your question is your bank, so you need to speak to them.I saw a business opportunity, so i bought them as they were cheap
Did you not stop for a minute to ask yourself how can this person get hold of 300 cookers that are the exact same spec as the one that I asked about?
A real businessperson would have done some due diligence and considered the risks involved - not just thought oh they're cheap I'll buy them.
If it sounds too good to be true then 99% chance it probably is.0 -
Cool story, bro.

I'd give the OP a break here.
Yes, this thread may be a wind up, but what if his/her story is genuine?
If you think the OP is a troll, then stop feeding the troll!
cloud360, I'd wait until you get a resolution with the charge back. I guess it's a waiting game now.
I hope you manage to sort the problem out.
In the meantime, I wish you all the best with your revision and forthcoming exams.

And just because seller is in USA doenst mean they will give goods that dont work in uk, i clarified all that.
In paypal i gave url of item i wanted.
As for Section 75 as far as I'm aware that is for consumers, this was a business transaction so probably isn't covered.
Importing electrical goods has many possible pitfalls. Goods should be professionally tested in the UK before being sold on. If you had actually bought them and a fault had arisen causing damage or death you would have been liable for that, a crime which can carry a prison sentence. Seems to me that losing the money was a lucky break..0 -
So...did you hire her?0

RFW good point, I think the rest of us have overlooked the fact this is a B2B transaction and therefore has less protection.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
