I'm surprised you have to send the passports by post to be honest.0

I think it must be because wherever the OP is going requires a visa which was to be obtained by the Travel Agent - visas are mentioned in post #1.
I agree, just surprised by it tbh. Although if it was a distance sale or something I suppose this would explain the need for posting them. Although is it common practice to send passports this way? I would have thought a password ID and other forms of ID would achieve the same result?0 -
Soo today i relogin to Track and Trace and it seems now they have found it and its out for Delivery  Got stuck in Gloucester Sorting office somewhere
Does anyone know if i am entitled for Refund of the Late Delivery? and anything else perhaps? (i.e Phone calls etc)
Huge sigh of relief though!0 -
Quick Question this is the Trail of the Passport does anyone know at which point it got stuck on
The 3RD Entry says collected - this does mean it was collected at the Post office i posted it from? or Collected from Mail Centre?

I don't really understand your response, in my experience a visa has to be physically applied to the passport by the embassy or consulate of the country to be visited, which either requires a personal journey to the relevant building or sending passports by post direct or (as in this case) via a third party.0 -

Places Which you require a Visa for Example India - They need to be sent to the Embassy whereby they will stick a Visa on one of the pages of the Passport
There is an option of actually physically going to to the Visa Offices and Drop off your passport etc but unfortunately Distance is a factor so alot of peopel resort to posting the Passports off0 -
When I went to Myanmar 20 years ago it was easier to get on a plane to London than mess around hoping the Royal Mail and the Embassy would get their act together enough to get them sorted. Time was an issue then too.0

I had an SD letter "progreesing through our system" and submitted an enquiry via the RM website system. They repleid with a copy of the receipient signature showing date & time of delivery but when i use the track & trace it still just shows "processing" so maybe worth a try to e-mail them as a "complaint" about failure to meet guarantee delivery time.0
