 Fair enough but a weevil attack would be bullish I imagine. Lots of irony in the market, Cyprus using their gold is bullish if trade surplus countries like China still keep gold as a monetary asset central to global trade

What poor people do is less important then productive people and countries.
If this werent true, Cash4gold adverts would have been timely and great advisory services.
Turns out debtors often sell at bad prices, nothing new here!

Gold now down to $1349, and a 10% fall just today.

Silver has fallen 12% so far today.

Surely to God there has to be a temporary end to the bloodletting soon, with some support to trigger a short lived rally, but where?

I'm almost starting to feel sorry for the bugs....

Plenty of goldbugs are throwing in the towel though. Gotta feel sorry for these people that say their wife is furious at them for losing so much of their life savings...

My sympathy is for the wife.

Fortunately for me, my only investment in precious metals is in jewellery, which I wear and value for things other than purely £x value.

Isn't it obvious? They are trying to force the little guys to sell all their gold at a loss so they can pick it all cheaper.

According to gold rampers, its only paper gold thats falling in price and this is somehow the start of a big increase in the price of physical gold. I didnt follow the 'logic' :p

The turd is going to be a wanted man if this keeps up. I'm so glad I got out of the metals when I did. it's a blooming stressful game.

I knew a mega rich german who owned tower blocks, many of them. I suggested he looked into getting into gold and silver in 2010 and he winced at the thought and said 'no way, the price is way too volatile, if I did that, how would I sleep?'.

Saying that, I will be 'backing up the truck' on the never never though if the thing that can't be mentioned gets down to $7. Cost cant be a bad bet.
Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.
  • Can someone recommend a gold index tracker backed by physical gold held if there is such a thing?
