What about vertical blinds tilted to such an angle they give light but restrict views through the house0

You live in an area of rude people.
The only person who has attempted to look through my living room window is a visitor of one of my upstairs neighbours' who sounded Polish.
They did this because the person they were visiting wouldn't let them in. I didn't let them in either even though I could clearly see them and they rang my door bell.
This guy tried it 3 times before he realised it wasn't working.
It may be because in London you are so close to people the only way you can get sufficient personal space is by purposely not looking at things in front of you.I'm not cynical I'm realistic
