It's only 10.15pm on Friday and my Santander ISA online account already shows that I haven't made any contributions (£0.00) and that my contributions remaining is £5760.00. Would it be too early to add funds now?

Be careful I think you will find it has always says that. I asked Santander to correct mine and they say they cant!

I'd like to open a new Santander Isa tomorrow but to meet the £2.5k minimum I'd need to transfer my existing Santander ISA. I want to do this anyway but just concerned over interest. My recent letter says bonus payment is made on the anniversary of the account opening which was 10 April 2012. Does this mean I wouldn't get any interest if I transferred it tomorrow?

As long as your existing ISA isn't a fixed rate then any interest earned should be paid at the point of transfer if earlier than 10th without penalty.

No, earlier in the week it showed my contributions for 2012/13 (I upgraded my previous Santander ISA last week). But tonight it shows no contributions. I'm assuming I can now contribute for 2013/14. Perhaps I will wait until just after midnight.
  • sorry to hijack, I have a current natwest e-isa.. come the 6th, do I just topup this isa tonight via faster payments? I'm also transferring 2011 subscription into this isa, is that ok?

OK, I guess that ISA is available still for new funds.

    Good Luck

transferred today also - just added to my existing virgin money e-ISA which is still paying 2.88 - although i can't remember if it has a bonus rate included in that or not - i'll have to keep a close eye on it.

did the same with my wifes, which is also with virgin.
