I was phoned by 'Adam' who claimed to be from Taltalk (so, as far as I know, it was not a cold call). He said he could reduce my Talktalk payments to £7 a month. It turns out that he had set up an extra payment from Digi Homecare. I cancelled the direct debit immediately. I am considering reporting this to Action Fraud.

I,like many others,have been cold-called by 'Adam' claiming to be from the company that looks after Virgin Media Broadband and claiming that he will reduce my monthly Direct Debit.I do not have a D/D set up for 'Digital Homecare' so this is obviously a SCAM.He asked for my bank sort code and would not take no for an answer so I put the phone down.I contacted my bank to warn them and also phoned Virgin Media and both said they would get their fraud teams to investigate.NEVER give any bank details over the phone.The phone number he used was 08445677889.Be warned folks!

It looks as if my wife has been conned by the same outfit and unfortunately the money has been taken from the account anybody know how to get it back or is it just down to experience.
I see from the Forum that they have been going for a long time they must have scammed many thousands of pounds, I cannot understand why they have not been stopped.
I have stopped the direct debit and now await the phone calls, I look forward to confronting them.
