not if he looked more weathered than me!!! Seriously if he were a little younger and pretty worldly and mature I'd accept that. My last date was 2 years younger than me, had retired at 30, had a helicopter etc, but on the absolute downside he was pretty petty! So it had to be a no :(

Anyone who feels the need to own their own helicopter sounds like a twat.

that's a good point FN, my new man is 3 years younger than me...does that make me a cougar?? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Depends. It's all about percentages. If you're 87, then dating an 84 year old doesn't make you a cougar. If you're 6, it probably does.

Oh God, you've not got much of a political affiliation with that motley collection, have you?! :D

How on earth can you expect to find someone like-minded if those are the papers you read?? Unless you're after a chuntering social worker who likes talking about investments, the environment and stuff that gives you cancer.

I think you just need to hang out on here, meds12. Try the Arms. I've had some of my best shags from MSE!

I teach (as one of my subjects, not my main one!) Sociology, and The Daily Mail always gives us material to talk about in class debates... I have a wide range of interests but I do deffo like current affairs and economics! I am well into my equity ISAs lol!! I think that is my problem - I need to specialise more!!

Good luck with your quest, but do also remember that the old cliche often wins 'it's when you stop looking that you find someone'

one night stands are not the problem though!!! I want someone I have a connection with...and the only ones I have are either married or unavailable for other reasons!

I would definitely have my own helicopter if I had the money. Not a question. Way better than a stupidly expensive car.
