    Hi feelingfestive!

Not long now if it's all still going to plan, have had a read of your diary and it looks like you got things sorted pretty quickly really! Well done!!!

  • Thanks nicolula87! Things are finally moving in the right direction.
Think we are actually looking to complete in the week after but that's OK too as it is half term so I can spend some time sorting stuff out in the house.
Aim for this week: to exchange contracts!
    Woo!

Lets see how much it can be useful for the members...
  • Hi jedsonack2! Thanks for commenting although as I'm relatively new I'm not really sure what a MSW is?! Sorry!

  • Wahooo! We have finally moved into our dream home and now we can really start paying off the mortgage! :j:j:j I can't wait until we can make our first OP. :D Need to spend a while getting our finances in order and then we will be able to do a signature and sort out our payments. I'm so thrilled that we've finally moved. I'm fairly sure that our OP's won't be as big or a regular as some of the people's on here however we are trying to do the house up at the same time so we will have less money to OP for a while.
Sorry for the ramblings but you can probably tell I'm quite excited by my lovely new house! :D:o

  • Thought I'd add a little list of things to do today:
    1. Do some washing - after the move I have stacks
    2. Survive the first day back at school
    3. Hoover and clean the house - especially all the sawdust where Mr FF decided the floorboard needed to come up yesterday evening to find some pipes!
    4. Check all finances to make sure eating will happen this month
    5. Meal planning for the next 2 weeks.
    6. DO NOT spend any money! :rotfl:
We shall see how we get on with this lot!

Yay congrats on the move :D

We moved into our house a year ago and still have loads of work to do on it :S

Oh well, it's all so exciting it doesn't matter.

Yes, me too. I've been here two and a half years and am still doing stuff gradually. Next exciting work will be something to do with the drains - how thrilling! I still love my house though.

  • Well, 5 out of 6 jobs from yesterday isn't bad! :p Just haven't meal planned yet but I did check there was enough money to eat! Phew! :D
    So, onto today's plan:
    1. Finish marking the Year 10's Controlled Assessments
    2. Pressure wash the pathways and greenhouse and get all the moss off of the roof
    3. Get a few bits from L's to ensure lunch will be eaten tomorrow and I need a few home bits as well
    4. Mop my very lovely green lino tiled kitchen floor
    5. Poo pick the ponies field
Think that'll probably do! We are aiming to make our first OP at the beginning of next month once all the finances from the move have settled down.

Have a great day in the sunshine everyone! :j

  • Got everything done yesterday except mopping the floor so that is job 1 tonight! I've got a good day today so hoping to get a lot done and my lovely parents are coming for dinner tonight :D
    Today's to do list:
    1. Mop the floor
    2. Mark the other set of Controlled Assessment
    3. Cook a lovely tea
    4. Put the horses out overnight for the first time! :D
    5. Start my risk assessment for a new school trip
    6. Mark some year 9 assessments
Think that should do it! :D
Enjoy the sunshine! That first OP is getting closer.
