A "No Refund" policy surely isn't legal, is it? If the goods are faulty, you are legally entitled to a replacement or refund, regardless of any "No Refund" policy that may be in place.

    A. Only if faulty (this does not affect your statutory rights).

This is confusing me the more times I read.

can we start at the beginning as this all seems muddled.

was it an instore sofa which was reduced in price and 'sold as seen' delivered to you then you found fault you had not noticed in shop?

or was it one you chose and had ordered then delivered to you?

You had a sofa delivered which you inspected after delivery men left and found faults?

Were you aware of faults in good before it was delivered?

Land of leather came to look at sofa when you told them it had faults and they then said . . . . ?

what does your paperwork say for the item you bought?

    Dont be a wimp.
You are entitled to a refund END OF STORY.
Personally, I would stand outside Land Of Leather every chance I got and tell everyone who enters what type company they are dealing with. I might even get a few banners made and hand out information on your experience.
Sure to get them to take notice.
I saw a guy do this once outside a car showroom, it was classic.

i bought and paid fr the sofa.it got delivered.i was in a hurry cos the guys delivered at 3pm,i had to be at other end of town picking up my son.so i said .i'llcheck it over when i get home, done so,went to l.o.l to tell them of the tear.they said theyd send someone out butto check for other faults.did so,and found quite a few,guy came out looked at wat i said i felt were faults.he took note of them all, explained he thought the tear one(original fault) was repairable.but as for others then he seen no problem in me asking for a refund or exchange as they werent repairable...shop wouldnt budge and said replacement only.due to their being faults..their terms and conditions say no refund policy....

    hope that makes sense...
i'm now discussing refund from visa.but to be honest the woman at visa was the one who prompted me to come in here to ask advice as she said,i had no chance of refund and was really rude to me on phone the other day...

This still makes no sense to me. THe only possibility if this post is true,is that because of your own refusal to take the time to check the suite at time of delivery you have invalidated your delivery contract..dont know if this is legally acceptable though-you should have mentioned this at post number one-not post 20!!

I presume you signed something along the lines of -
"Checked and Received in good condition" in which case you are stuffed.
