It really sounds delish (I imagine it would make soup nice and creamy- yummy) but unfortunately will not be able to try it as DD and I are both lactose intolerant
Oh - that's a b***er (no offence)
Are you able to add soya mik to cream it up? I have very little experience of soya milk but was just wondering?
You can also make butternut squash chips - cut the BNS into chip shapes, spray on a little olive oil and pop them in the oven (I think you may need to parboil for 5 or so mins. I can check if you want.

NSD no.5 today I have got a couple of lamb chops from the freezer for dinner tonight and have some veg from the freezer as well and in the veg basket I have a couple of sweet potatoes to use up.Lunch will be my yummy carrot and coriander soup that I made its blooming delicious and I have enough for today and probably tomorrow left.So far this month I haven't used any cash from my food purse and I'm really pleased with myself.Nothing on my list of stuff need to get as yet probably by Friday I may need some fruit, but I do have a whopping big pineapple in the conservatory to use at the moment, and some apples and an orange so I will eke the fruit out for a few more days0

Since the 28th when i had a large food shop it has been NSD. I have started using up food stocks and so yesterday i made bread and biscuits instead of popping to corner shop.
Today will be another NSD. Will probably be a pick and mix meal from the fridge for tonight's dinner as have a fair bit of sandwich meat to use by the 8th.
Hope you all have a nice day.

I'm not 100% sure of the price, but i need to stock up myself, so will check and get back to you if this would help at all. I remember the last time they had them they were £5
K9- would you let me know about the toilet rolls please? I have been using the asda smartprice ones, but i hate them. It's like scratching my bum with sandpaper!and it all breaks up

Don't know sorry, but I'm impressed. I've got a disgusting habit of standing halfway in the fridge and eating the rest of the block.I love feta cheese! It's nice in a warm pitta for a sandwich with salad veg or even just with a blob of salad cream. Yummy!

Hi everyone,
Budgets done to here
Hello to:
Martas, Pesto, Elimum and tinycrush
NSD yesterday as I was working. Will need to pop to Ts this afternoon for a couple of bits for tea. We are having A!di's ambient filled pasta, so need a sauce (as I'm going to London later and won't have time to make one) plus some salad to go with.
Thinking of attempting quesadillas (sp?) tomorrow night. Friday is our wedding anniversary so may treat us to an M$S meal deal if there's one going. Cheaper than going out :money:
Off to work in a mo - 2 gardening clients today. Woohoo the sun is shining :T

Yes you can freeze Feta
Thanks for this. I have just chucked out half a pack that had gone manky and would never have thought of freezing it.
I do have a nice pasta bake recipe with courgettes, feta and sun dried toms that I could have used it in if I had remembered it was there:oSave £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
Make £2021 extra income - £99.750
